    • You are correct, and no way would I eat or swim there!!! Thats some sort of pollutant, or virus, something very, very wrong happening there. Whats sad also is the fish will be suffering. People often see fish as inanimate objects but animal behavioural researchers have found many fish species have complex social lives, far more complex than previously thought. One reason fish appear to us not to suffer is they don't have facial expressions showing pain. But most prey animals don't either, the reason is not to give away one's own intention(s) to a prey animal to take advantage of. Another interesting discovery is fish can remember beyond a year in memory challenges that researchers gave them. And thats only because they stopped the study at that point. The test was different feeding spots. but the same speaker made different sounding tones when it was dispensing food from each location. They then didn't feed the fish in those spots for a year, Instead feed them from a new sole location. Then after the year, they turned on the different sounding tones at different times, and the fish swam to each spot that originally feed them when hearing that unique tone. (The tone was sounded in the same spot but the feeding spots were elsewhere, meaning the sound source wasn't coming from the feeding location, it was just associated with it). Meaning fish remember for a long time. I doubt my dog or even myself would remember that well lol

As such, those governments will allocate the funds as soon as possible for the salvage and repair and then LATER recoup those costs from the insurance companies. If we know anything about insurance companies, they will not pay until they are forced to pay, and they will not be forced to pay until a judge or jury makes that determination. That will take years of litigation, years which the local and national economies does not have for that bridge to be rebuilt.

    • @@angels4u Interesting….I responded and my response disappeared…so let me respond again. I am American!!! I have dual citizenship from my parents! What blog?!?!! I don’t have a blog! Please provide the link of my supposed blog…there is none! I don’t write about rich lifestyles…I don’t even write any kind of blog! So, because you cannot offer a valid response based on facts, you want to use ad hominem (personal attacks). So, you don’t know what has been done to Haitians or other countries via foreign policy but want to complain about tax dollars? Why don’t you educate yourself on foreign policy there, and you will see where those taxes went. Then, you can be angry at the people who are causing the issues of poverty and lower quality of life there…it isn’t the fault of the Haitians.

    • Lisbon diaries? I looked up YOUR UTUBE channel. It promotes Lisbon, Portugal, fine wine, and expensive living. Not once did I ever state any blame to Haiti or its people. Get off your high horse, period. I believe Americans have a right to freedom of speech, and opinion. It is a constitutional right You obviously don't respect other people's options to state another view point. I did not attack you, nor speak poorly about anyone. No interest in foreign policy. I support the fact that YES, like MANY AMERICANS, I believe we should take care of our own, 1st . Like Many AMERICANS, I want my tax dollars to take care of me first. WHY???? Because they are AMERICAN dollars, earned by myself and other AMERICANS!!!! Leave me alone. Don't blame me for my opinion and the right to speak. I am not responsible for Haiti or its people , or its situation .Stop attacking someone for giving an opinion, you don't like. American tax dollars should be taking care of Americans 1st!!!

      @angels4u@angels4uАй бұрын
    • @@angels4u Leave me alone???? You are the one who keeps writing me back. After this, I am blocking you. You don’t seem like a reasonable person, and I don’t want to communicate with someone who isn’t informed about how their own country functions and isn’t willing to learn. You don’t care about foreign policy, then why are you talking about Haiti?!?! That is America’s foreign policy in action! Please stop spreading misinformation. You didn’t look up anything about my channel. There are no videos shown…it is now private! First you said I wrote a blog, now you say the same things about my channel. So, where is the link for my blog??? Still waiting for it. Why are you choosing to lie about this? Even if if was about what you say it is, that would not negate what I am saying to you. I didn’t grow up rich, and I am not rich, nor is my channel about anything you mentioned …wow, seriously? My channel is about Portugal. You want to complain about not getting help from the government, actually rightfully so…I agree with you…but don’t even know anything about how the government works, where your taxes go or how the foreign policy has caused geopolitical issues around the world and obviously, has repercussions for people who live in the country. You don’t care about foreign policy, but your tax dollars are paying for those decisions related to foreign policy, so you should care, especially if you don’t feel taken care of in the U.S. You, like many Americans, are not educated about our own country because you don’t even attempt to learn about anything beyond what you read in the headlines. Yes, you have a right to freedom of speech…that means against the government or entities of the government. It doesn’t mean freedom of speech everywhere. For example, social media platforms can delete a comment they deem to be against their rules, or really, they can delete it if they simply don’t like it because it differs from their opinion, and we don’t have any recourse for that. I respect your opinion…I was just mentioning how foreign policy is responsible for Haiti. You don’t seem to want to hear it since you keep changing the subject to make this about you and freedom of speech. Oh, by the way, I have that same right as you, being that I am an American citizen, and even if I wasn’t, people who live in other countries like in Europe, also have freedom of expression as part of their Constitutions. The U.S. is only one of over 100 democracies around the world. So, freedom of speech and expression isn’t particular to only the U.S., just like this platform isn’t only for the U.S. Maybe you need to respect my freedom of speech as well. You have no interest in foreign policy? Well, how can you complain? The country uses your tax dollars to spend on geopolitical interests instead of people’s needs in the U.S. if you aren’t educated about that, you don’t even know what to complain about. No more comments, no more back and forth.

I gave up meat as is so expensive these days, I found a whole lot of tasty flavorsome recipes online for all the different bean varieties. So that halved my food bill. If you soak them you save even more as dried beans are even cheaper than canned, yet loaded in protein and fibre, nutrients and are low in hi-GI carbs but have long chain carbs for sustained energy. I lost my layer of fat but retained my muscle ( I do a lot of weights). Plus my life long eczema went away ( it comes back when I eat anything with dairy in it) And I don't feel as tired. The real crane is called the Chesapeake 1000. It arrived at Tradepoint Atlantic in Sparrows Point earlier Friday. It's enormous and could effortlessly lift the smaller crane NBC showed.
