  • Not gonna lie, your videos have made me appreciate being a mechanic at work. We have plenty of different specialty tools my shop has spent at least $100k on and here you are making it work with little to nothing. Kuddos

    • I was saying the same thing. Then I saw that they were working on semi truck. Those things can range anywhere from 12 to 22 L engine, big oil plug for a big engine

    • @P1CKLE_R1CK Your right, its a bolt not the original drain plug, it was most probably rounded off years ago by that open end spanner they had on it.

  • Love it...old school mechanics....brings back memories of doing major repairs to heavy earthmoving eqpt with no workshop facilities...trying to smoke with diesel soaked hands in the rain...halcyon days...would do it all again in a heartbeat...👍👍

  • I love the long drain plug replacement bolt, the man has excellent bearing grease technique and no gripes about working outside in GOD'S garage. He builds more engines and trucks from rear bumper to grill than any Mr. Goodwrench I ever worked with

    • By brakes do you mean the hardware? If so you can use high temp grease like you would for bearings but I'd recommend anti seize so the pads will slide in and out of the hardware easier. I've used high temp grease before but it holds on to debris so I try not to use it on the hardware
