Promoting St Ivany is a no-brainer, makes Pens younger and solidifies defense.
new GM. ❤
They need youth, and they need more guys like Bunting. They've missed that Bunting type of player since Kunitz and Hornqvist moved on. Penguins would be wise to look at DeBrusk or Bertuzzi as UFAs if they aren't re-signed by their current teams. The defense needs some help, but, they are pretty much stuck waiting to see how Graves plays next year. He played too poorly and has a horrible contract for his play, that they need to hope he rebounds. They also have a HUGE need for a right handed centerman. With Carter retiring, Acciari is the only RH center, but he's actually much better suited for RW. Being LH is one thing that may hurt Poulin, Gruden, and Ponomarev making the team, as they are all LH. I do agree that Eller was exceptional, but the team is also much stronger if Eller-Acciari can be 2/3 of our 4th line.
I'll be glad when Belchky finally does this bobblehead giveaway - I get SO tired of hearing this Burply say"A CALL TO ACTION!"
hope we keep shea and ivany they played great together for a young defensive pair
zigras may be available. rumour is he has fallen out of favor in anaheim. if true, you may not need alot to get him.
He’s a brat, I don’t think he has the maturity to play with the vets on this team, good young player but a shitty attitude will leave him healthy scratched here
or what they dont need. Hopefully they can move some players that havent performed well
If you keep doc up in the top 6, he should and could become a 20+ goal scorer. If you drop him back to third line defensive deployment, he will take a step back offensively. How well has smith worked out this year? There is no guarantee that replacement works. That line was getting very good together. I prefer to spend the $ on a third line difference maker and some defense.
Getting younger is the biggest need frl
I'll take good players over young players any day of the week
I’d move smith rakell will jump back plus he acctually for checks and back checks smith Looks to avoid contact
chaotic good duo would be Swayman Nedeljkovic something tells me that would be a good team I may be wrong
no way we want swayman
Of course it would be good but we're never getting Swayman away from BOS
I know Sully isn't going anywhere so.........first thing is the rest of the coaching staff needs to walk. Hire replacements and go from there. Just my thoughts. All I hear is crickets from upper management so far.
No Crosby and the good old boy club needs to go. Their time is done
I think the Pens need more than a tweaking. They need a team overall. When the playoffs roll around every year I am reminded why the Pens dont do well in the playoffs and now why they dont even make the playoffs. It's because the Pens are a fast finesse team and finesse teams dont get to the finals any more..on top of that all the Pens are no longer a fast team anyway. So they need to become younger and stronger/more physical and not just a bunch of dudes trying to make pretty plays. So I am saying we need a Pat Maroon instead of a PO Joseph and a Gubrandsson instead of a Pettersson...and more line cooks in the lineup and fewer chefs...you could accomplish this by swapping out a couple chefs
I want Laine
love to add a guy that talented but all the baggage worries me
@@johnnythunder196fair enough. konecney, zegras, somebody, anybody!!
@@NobuhikuObayashi I feel the same way after all of his brutal signings and acquisitions
A new coach would be a good start.
Domi and wemberg are almost 30 we need youth don't know why you want older guys trade accari and neito and graves rakell and smith
those are exactly the guys we need to move...add Jarry to that list
Why don't anybody talk about how bad Malkin played during the season except last 10 games when it was too late. He is the most paid player on the team. Penguins will never win a cup with Malkin and Jarry....
Because the didn't play bad. Your comment is just all around delusional.
@@jsebby2284 what does because the didn't ---> means
@@youssefhimo1149 *he. Sorry haha
You mean the guy who had nearly 70 points playing with stiffs most of the season and then was demoted down to PP 2 on a team where PP 1 did nothing all year...yeah sure he's the problem
Get dubas a new brain. Fire all coaches not named Sullivan since he’s untouchable. Bye graves. Bye jarry. Bye smith. Start there.
Maybe it will happen....Dubas dumped Todd R....great start.
Dump Joseph even if you get a used jock for him . Dead weight . Get a young stay at home D- man . Has Dubas had any success with anyone he has brought to the Pens . Jarry had his chance . He got a big contract and doesn't care now . Murray did the same thing . Keep Bunting with Malkin . Find somebody else who is young and will take a beating in front of the net . Thing is that the Pens need to get younger and faster .
What's your obsession with used jocks?
I've been saying the same thing but to be Smith is the biggest problem on this team....he's the perfect example of "dead weight"....Smith, Raks, Jarry, Graves, POJ and those terrible 4th liners would be on my move at all costs list if i was GM...and the entire coaching staff but we all know Sully isn't budging
Hope Domi, and other average middle age players stays away from the Pens
same dont want Domi....who would you add to our roster?
One center from the following list: O’Reilly, Stuzle, Thompson. One vinger that makes a difference Tkachuk, Tuch, Vatrano, and one veteran with close to a min contract Zucker, Beauvillier, Kane. I am okay to part ways with Rakell, Smith, Eller, Acciari, Nieto Jarry, Graves. I am willing to give all the pics, half of prospects, and Petterson to make all happen
@@vanoful You sound like me. I've been wanting the entire year to get rid of those guys (indifferent on Eller)...actually felt ill when i heard we got R Smith, Nieto and the other 4th liner who cant score. I think we have to have a better winger with Geno and Bunts. Vatrano, Tkachuk, Thompson, Stuzle....anyone of those guys come in and I'm celebrating. Would love to have Kane or Zucker rather than R Smith. Do you feel comfortable with DOC on the first line? I'm assuming from your list you'd prefer him on the third line.
If DOC plays like he did in the second part of the season it is good to put him with Sid and load up second or third line with a scorer, who is capable to produce on his own. I would also like to have 2-3 places in the lineup for Puusti, Koivunen, Jager so they can constantly play at this level. I also think that it is time to put Geno on a third line, and maybe even Sid on a second or at least manage their minutes and opponents to ease the burden for a 37+ y.o. players
@@vanoful Pusti, Koivunen, Jager would make a far sharper 4th line instead of running out old stiffs who cant score. I think Geno and Sid can handle it for at least 1 more season but I think keeping Raks would be a terrible idea as we need a much better offensive presence to help Geno
