Honestly I don't meet a lot of people who play Custodes in general, I've run into more gene stealer cult and penal legion players which both seem to me as more niche factions than custodes.

@@plmokm33Yeah, you’re right there. I can only think of one or two Custodes players I’ve seen in several years and generally they don’t play them they just collect and maintain the armies.

I don’t recognize woke lore, if you go woke you lose my respect and your right to the IP and my money, loyalty goes both ways if they behaves like they hate me I’m going to have no loyalty to them or recognize them as entitled to everything. SRY genes is what makes one a male, you can’t change your genes but if you could you would have to give them SRY genes to make them powerful witch would mean they would be biological males 😂 if they don’t then they would be much weaker than a space marine, the SRY genes start the male development which is more powerful, faster, taller and block the female development that makes women able to become pregnant and give birth but also weaker than men in every way that could in fight with a spear.

This argument is well reasoned and eloquently stated, but misses the point snd refuses to engage the debate. Which is as cool and fun as the Sororitas is, they're not transhuman post human super soldiers, and there are no women that fit that role. Ignoring the discussion on why you'd even want to be a Custodes when they're most famous for dying to a man in the Webway War and failing to protect their Emperor and spending the next ten thousand years never leaving a castle, or as to if it even matters if a Custodes was once a woman because they're now so far elevated that if they can even be considered human anymore is an open question.

The Emperor isn't a Chaos God but not the point. The answer though is yes. During the Fall of Cadia there was a blip that made all the Daemons spazz out and Plaguemarines died instantly because Nurgle couldn't protect them from the thousands of diseases and parasites in their bodies. Saint Celestine was also effected and spazzed out, for she also draws her power at least in part through the Warp, just like a daemon.

The short answer is yes. The long answer is not precisely. The Emperor is more a god of order than chaos. The lore on what differences this makes fundamentally is unclear.

Normal humans with faith and the equivalent of special forces training n power armor.

Normal humans empowered by fayth. Their armour is noticeably slimer and looks more like a corset and thigh highs instead of a hulk that you step in to. This is reflected in the tabletop where they have rather measly toughness relative to Space Marines. Because Warhammer is a your mind makes it real setting where Orks can animate piles of garbage into working like mechs if enough of them *believe* hard enough that the contraption will work, zealous fayth is as good as actual magical powers. Again reflected in the rules for the game, where they can pool pre rolled "Miracle Dice" and use them instead of less advantageous roles in a tight situation.

Custodes don't gene-seed implant organs, they are taken at around age 5 and through a long, complicated &, resource intensive process have their DNA recoded & optimized.

So you can’t make a female as strong as a male, you can’t the genes they are set from conception till death, but let’s say you could, then the only way to make a female as powerful and fast as a male is by giving her SRY genes making her no more, you would have to make them biologically male and then there are still no female 😂 even if it is possible to change the genes you have to make them male to make them stronger, bigger and faster or there genetic patterns would make them into females which are much weaker than the strongest males, my personal best in bench press is better than then every single female who has ever lived and I’m not even among the strongest male, the best male is + 100% better than the best female 😂 15% fastest mush taller, every single thing is because of the SRY genes that makes you male, so if they make women they will not stand a chance against a space marine 😂
