I'm a senior, and I love these characters! Can you tell what the term "mic drop" means when referring to their relationship on or off camera? I am trying to learn the slang. My generation had our own in the 60's and 70's. Thank you!
Lovely having you here!❤️ So what we meant by ”mic drop” was actually a response to @katieboulton6568’s comment. Where she basically stated that ”everyone is talking about how Lukes and Nicolas relationship is a PR stunt to promote the show, but katie says that PR is one thing, but luke looking longingly on Nicola in real interviews is another thing" And to that we responsed "Mic drop" which stands for "microphone drop" and is slang for when someone said a dramatic iconic statement or argument which we in this case agree with. Stand up comedians used to do this on their shows after saying a powerful statement followed by dropping the microphone drop, as a punctuation mark. In short, all we really meant was yeess Katie! You nailed it with that statement. Hope this was somewhat helpful!

At the end of the day, they are best friends, work very well together, consenting adults, not in a relationship with anyone… so in my own opinion it’s their business and no one else’s. They are actually a very adorable 😊couple! I would love to see them together! But that’s just me! 😊
I really do think they’re just friends guys, it is easy to ship them in real life because the are really close. But you can find intimacy with a best friend or friend and it not have to cross the line into that territory. They went through filming Bridgerton for 3 years, and now getting to play out their characters love stories. It makes ALOT of sense why they are comfy and touchy. It is hard not to ship them, but I honestly think they just love and respect each other and are very good at their jobs!

@@katieboulton6568 No one is harassing her, if you check her comments there is no one talking about it? It's only her friends and family. He is certainly close to her as he is seen liking her pictures and apparently they shared a kiss in a New Year's party, but he hasn't come out and say that he is in a relationship specifically. Even so, the fans are only having fun. I'm sure neither Nic, Luke or the girl that he is seeing will be affected by the attention in the long-term. People will forget about it soon enough.

Luke has made mention in an interview that he and Nicola try to coordinate their outfits. I would understand if they wouldn't want to destroy the obviously incredible friendship but damn how they look at each other and move together.

I'm not usually for shipping co stars in real life, cause it can end badly (IE Victoria the show being cancelled because the co stars broke up.) These two however are different, they have real life chemistry and friendship it's adorable.
I hope they have massive crushes on each other, the way Ross and Rachel had in the earliest seasons of friends. David and Jennifer were dating other people but they secretly had huge crush on each other which is why it permeated on the screen.
OK here’s the thing they’re both actors and they’re on PR tour it could be an act they could be playing up their affection to encourage shipping rumors and publicity for the show. That being said they both admit they were friendly from the start and consider themselves friends in real life. So who knows maybe down the road they will get together. I just hope people don’t put pressure on them. If they get together it should be because they wanna get together or not because fans are hounding them. They do make a cute couple though and they seem to really enjoy each other’s company if it’s genuine. I certainly wouldn’t be disappointed to see them end of together.

Whoever came up with this, is a genius and deserves a raise xDDDD. These two are amazing together, and yeah, they have a chemistry that not even writers can come up with.
