Could it include the Rare Beast Island arc? It shows the existence of imaginary creatures and the six empty treasure chests stimulated the imagination of many kids. If it were treasure, they would have carried the whole chest with them. but if it were devil fruits... It needs to be live-action, even if only mentioned in conversation.
A 4 minute reminder of how perfect their casting is for Usopp. I take it.
He really does such a good job at nailing Usopp's persona. I love it!
I like this actor a lot for this role and they could have done so much worse. But.. I feel like he's playing a more confident, smooth-talking Usopp from after Sabaody time-skip. I guess I expected a more uncertain and visibly conflicted portrayal, and this actor is doing great but maybe he could have showed less confidence for early Usopp, so his character has room to develop. I kinda have the same criticism of Zoro. He's putting it on heavy from the start. But maybe that's the appeal, they're over the top like a cartoon. Still, can't wait for season 2.

I absolutely love the cast of this show and everything the production team has been doing to promote and share the joy of One Piece. It feels less like advertising and more like actual passion being shared with others. I am so excited for all the future content to come out related to and including season 2.

I think he's a great actor and has a lot of charisma but I personally don't think his personality resembles Usopp. Usopp is more imaginative , logical and clever. The actor is pretty charismatic and witty, which Usopp doesn't portray often. If Usopp would react to the actor he'd probably say "You see?! I am cool!" And the crew would think to themselves "This is nothing like Usopp!" Although Luffy would probably laugh and say "He's just like Usopp!"
@@wartortle577 I think it's pretty cool because he's a bit different. Not too much to make you forget he's Usopp, but enough to keep you guessing what makes him different, something like that
*What do you mean “more shine”? We got 2 episodes for his Island when in all honesty we only needed one after they took Carrot, Onion and Pepper out of the Live Action. He had lines pretty constantly and got his moments to shine when it came to fights…* *Usopp isn’t the guy who always fights, and when he does, he barely makes a dent. So I’m gonna assume you didn’t mean his fighting abilities and skills. If you mean screen time and dialogue, he’s already got the same amount as the Monster Trio… Usopp cannot get more screen time or dialogue then then 3 or people like Matt Owens will really not be doing One Piece correctly. We aren’t gonna do a Disney move and change stuff around to suit the vocal minority when the majority want the Live Action to be as close to the Anime/Manga as possible. If Usopp gets given more screen time and dialogue, he genuinely will end up be competing with Luffy, and that’s a problem as one is the Main Character and the other is a Side Character who appears when he needs to be on screen. If Usopp gets given some fake fighting abilities and skills, that’s just lying and changing the source material. Usopp’s genuine first time he did something was when he scared Perona, and that’s a long way off and it wasn’t based off “fighting skill” but instead a negative attitude that even she couldn’t deteriorate.* *How does he need more shine? 😂*

Unlike the Witcher series (where only Henry Cavill was a fan and everyone else working on the series openly distained and mocked the source material), everyone working on the One Piece series are massive fans of the source material. I think we're in good hands :)
Tbh Witcher S1 was kinda to boost the audience but in the macro it had the same goal of just getting a big IP and add woke sht later on

The creator its involved in the production compared to many shows turned into LA, so the only way it will go down hill for me its until Oda says he wont be working with them anymore, just like the creators of Avatar did to Netflix as soon as they started to change many things they didnt like.

Zoro LA has that sigma, quirky hidden humor . He is obviously not over the top and loud mouth as the anime version. He is my favorite of the Netflix show. Before in the east blue saga anime, my favorite was Sanji in the og. Especially because of his tornado kicks.

This adaptation is the only adaptation that I didn’t regret having high expectation because they superseded my expectation! Never I seen such a passionate, high quality, well planned well thought well acted well casted and truthful adaptation of anime/manga to this extent. It’s like every single person behind this adaptation, know clearly their jobs and roles and they deliver, whether it’s the producers, screen writers, makeups, props, actors actresses… everyone!

It was the characters that made me wanna start watching the anime again, after falling in love with the crew all over again, I cant stress enough how much they nailed casting for the live action.

The Avatar one is a sad situation because I really wanted it to be good. It wasn’t bad per se, at least it better than the Shamalamalaman version, but it wasn’t fantastic either. They swapped Sokka and Katara’s dynamics and made Aang a guilt ridden, miserable kid who whines about responsibility all the time and doesn’t know how to have fun or go on side quests. That’s what happens when a crew is interested in making the story that THEY wanna make vs. caring about and faithfully adapting what was already made, like what the One Piece cast and crew does.

@@turtle2848Oda is an absolute genius for putting the clause in his contract that he has to approve everything that gets put in the show down to the casting. After both ATLA adaptations and Cowboy Bebop, that should be the standard that all creators have when they give the rights to their IP to anyone.

ussops character is mainly a comic relief and one of the smartest strawhatm BUT he is meant to transcend in the final Arc in the manga to become the bravest warrior that he always dream to become and I am so exited to see his transformation in the live action.
Appreciate an actor who lives up on their role instead of butchering it and a director who puts his heart and dreams into a show that we the audience enjoys.

Probably mostly chosen by Oda at least indirectly (a few chosen ones chosing others of trust, etc.) But of course Oda has work and can't track everything like he's God. Because only Usopp is.

•Loguetown and Laboon can be packed into episode 1. •Whiskey Peak and some of Little Garden can be adapted to episode 2. •Episode 3 can be finale for Little garden and some of Drum Island. •Episodes 4 & 5 can be Drum Island and a sneak peak to arrival in Alabasta. •Episode 6 can be the introduction episode to Alabasta •Episodes 7 to 10 can be the whole Alabasta Arc until Robin's recruitment and some tease to the next season •Season 3 will be the entire Skypiea Arc

i think Owens already said in an interview that the reason Loguetown wasnt in S1 was because they lacked time coz they needed more than 1 ep to adapt it. So unless they change their minds, it means Loguetown will have at least 2 eps focused on it
