Pro tip. You can search your area (look at inventory via tab) and pickup arrows without searching the puppets most times. Can be faster in a pinch. Ggs

Loving this series! You can take out the heavy armoured puppets with two arrows to the legs, instead of four to the chest!
good tip: shift + mmb will allow you to melee attack without having to switch weapons

Yeah I wasn't convinced with the skirt either. Too short to protect the old twig and berries. Hopefully the next game you get more time before a reset. That fishing area looked like maybe someone had a business there.

Dude your videos just keep getting better and better. I'm really impressed with how quickly you're putting out such high quality edits. Also, this game reminds me of Rust in a lot of ways, but so much more detailed. Almost like a weird combination of Rust and Escape From Tarkov. I'd definitely be interested to check this game out, but I think (similar to Rust and Tarkov) I'd need a buddy with me to enjoy it for any decent amount of time.

Tip ,,, if infected, take of clothes, lie down and heal , put cloths back on , no pills needed , , You can tab to get your arrows back without doing a search of the zombie , Get thread/ cotton, and a bone needle to make a sewing kit , ( kill puppet, chop up , get bone , make needle ,

40:20 you might already know this but you cannot corner peek for PVP. real players wont render unless you have direct line of sight
Amazing video Don.. really enjoying this game. I would’ve taken that gun and sold it for ammo and stuff.. The idea of making training equipment for your character and upgrade the skill is amazing. I’ve never seen a game that implement this way in its gameplay.
I ALWAYS forget that I can sell off the stuff I find, but I don't feel bad for not doing it this time since it all reset at the end of the day anyway

another awesome video, SCUM can be brutal even on single player, equally as so on PVE servers but add PVP into the mix and it can be horrifically brutal.... it definitely adds that chaotic randomness to the mix.... also if you craft something and once that item has crafted, exit out of the crafting but then press alt and C and it crafts the last item you made, might save you some time and also allow you to keep a look out a bit easier rather than being locked in the restrictive view of the crafting window thanks for another epic adventure BlondeDon 🙂I look forward to the next one 🙂

@@BlondeDon you're welcome , also when in a car if you hit shift F you can keep the engine running before getting out in case you wanna leave the car ready to make a quick escape

I ended up dropping it to make room in my inventory. I didn't have any batteries so it was useless at the time

Just discovered your channel but you should make more scum even after getting sinped in the end but just do like a single player or just invite friends on to play with you it makes it more fun

Put your knife in quick access, 3 or 4,,,, your primary weapons are in quick access 1 and 2
You can just go into prone to quick build your stamina

Hi, I'm the person that sniped you at the end of the video. First off I just wanna say sorry lol, and great video. Me and my squad were raiding a base near that facility with the mechs when we heard a car drive by, we decided to follow the car into that facility and hunt down whoever was in it. Turns out the people driving were the admins, and eventually we got in, killed them a few times they killed us a few times etc, and then we decided to leave. So we get back to our cars and started driving to that open field (40:39

@@chrisw.6060 the admins are the people who do administrative work on the server, but at the time they were just having fun playing during the event as if they were normal players

@@chrisw.6060 depends on what server you play on, i think most admins probably don't play with their community as much as the admins for the server we were on

thats the biggest killer for players. all that work. and if you cant play for a month you lose it all. numer one reason i cant get anyone to play with me.too much grind and upkeep .they need to have a limited save spot for people who cant maintain bases. like GTA have like a generic safe zone prisoner apartment where players can save at least a few things of gear without it deleting after a few weeks

In single player, you can pause it and change the settings to crank to the loot and a bunch of other settings 🙂

You can't 3rd person peek in Scum...Just FYI

@@BlondeDon correct, you only can see players if your toon has visual contact. Exception: you can always see players of your own squad. And there's another thing, bushes and grass are no hard objects so you can peek over bushes in 3pp even if you can't see anything in 1pp. Many players use that kinda exploit heavily.
@@BlondeDon The way it works in Scum is if you don't have line of sight, you can't see them. This prevents the Third Person Peek ability like you can use on DayZ. The way you can test it is go to a town, look down the street, line of sight at a puppet. Then go behind a building and try to 3rd person peek it. You'll notice they aren't there until you walk out into line of sight. Sorry it took me a bit to get back to you with an answer. Been busy IRL.
