    • EXACTLYYY and people hate it bc autotune but the autotune is like that because it supposed to sound distorted or if like you're on drugs, which puts it on a whole other level in meaning.

  • Unpopular opinion but I literally CANNOT HEAR MELANIE BECAUSE THE SONG IS PLAYING OVER HER. I hate this song but absolutely LOVE the lyrics and the only thing I think we all need is a version of this song without the auto tune. It's cool in theory like the different voices portals has... however when it's live it just feels like I'm listening to the album and it's loud af.

    • i agree that an un-auto tuned version would be incredible! like an acoustic of some sort. but a fun little fact about the song is that it has the distortion because the song is in the perspective of someone who is high on drugs! it's supposed to give the feel of being disoriented, it gives the song a whole other level of meaning, it means a lot to me with it like this. but i do agree with you on a version with no auto tune!!
