Alex's timing: 📈📈📈📈📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📈📈
Actually, he is always in timing. It's just a jazz vocal technique
@@samkagerou yeah, but still he used it in parts that didn't fit. So it's a lack of timing anyways.
@@VitorAmigoDaVizinhancahe's the final say of whether it fits, so it's definitely works. Perfectly in time the whole way
its callee back-phrasing hes intentionally singing off beat
@@swagnostic132 But he made the final say when he recorded the song singing it in the correct timing though, so no.
THEY SUNG EVERY SINGLE WORD! WOW! THAT CROWD WAS INSANE!
Was there, one of the best experience’s I’ve ever had. There crowd interaction wasn’t amazing but still they were insane
@@adamdoherty5390 What crowd interaction? 😂 I was there too, “I crumble completely when you cry” was the loudest I’ve ever heard a crowd.

Check any arctic monkeys show in Brazil. Ain’t even joking. It’s just INSANE For real

505 best with miles kane
i just thought that bro, it was pretty amazing
@@francescofadda1007 This comment made me check out Glastonbury 2013. I feel like this performance has a lot more drive and crowd involvement
I find it amazing that a band from my era still resonates with 16, 17, 18 year olds now.
Good music is timeless.
and they so sloppy now too......meh
It’s not really that old. Teens now resonate with Nirvana and Marilyn Manson and Ozzy Osbourne too.
@@angelashinner and The Beatles

Pls respond
They will always have that awkwardness to them I think probably because they never wanted this fame. Amazing performance.
Yea it's like they've got that something and not trying to throw it at you....simply cool
they wanted it
they did, but after that it's just "what now?", so they just experiment a new direction of their music because they literally have nothing to lose, they've beaten the game and i'm fkin glad they did, the new bits of The Car sounds amazing
@@herculet yes they do!!!!
@@herculet i agree i do love the new bits of the car and i loved tranquility base but i kinda miss the energy, from like whatever they call me through the am
They're such a killer live act. Seeing so many people sing along is fantastic.
they were shit live tbh
They were so shit at reading
And sing the instrumen parts
Saw them in 2019, seeing them again next January. They really were incredible the first time.
This song has aged so incredibly well. I love every single live version of 505, no matter how it is interpreted or sung by Alex Turner (slow or fast). Simply a timeless masterpiece. I saw them last week in Zurich.
And this song thankfully never fails to bring an incredible feeling.
Can we all agree that this song is timeless?

unfortunately yes. forever loop
Yes, we can.
Am is timeless so happy to live in their time even I am 21yo and wasnt teen when they were on their top but they are still playin

honestly it was amazing. i’ve always wanted to see arctic monkeys and it was one of the best things i’ve experienced
It was a pretty mediocre performance in honesty
@@oggabob ur a The 1975 fan and ur talking abt mediocre performances?
This song has become so popular and it wasn't even a single. This to me, shows that if they released more singles on earlier albums, I can't imagine how successful they would have been. They only ever released two or three singles on the first two albums. I think both could have been even bigger with more singles with more variety of style too.
Music publication was different back then
@@janbarenkatapult7552 even so it was still extreme, for album one they released two singles in the UK before the album and then nothing post the release date. They did next to no media, it was cool and I'm not knocking it. It's just interesting.
Brianstorm was also a single that didn’t become very popular or at least not nearly as popular as 505.
They have the best selling first ever album of all time so I see what ur saying but it’s not like they weren’t popular
@@storm7590 true it’s not their biggest song but got to number 2 in the charts and it always goes off at concerts, 505 seems to have been a late bloomer and become immensely popular over the last couple of years

I guess you could say you crumbled completely when she cried...
Best is yet to come ❤ I hope you are doing alright now...
They sound like a choir. So unified
Can't tell if Alex couldn't hear the drummer or what but that drummer had to work hard to get the timing back. Big respect to Matt Helders the drummer :)
Nah Alex just sings everything slower now, it kinda sucks.
Not too much of an adjustment. Alex sang the lyrics slower but still in time or pretty close to it.

the crowd look ageless every time the band do the gig. I mean it used to be their siblings or even aunties there just a decade ago. One of the best in terms of "relatability" (or just pure best, really)

I thought it was just a singing style but then it was really slower than how they'd usually play 505 lol
He does that with a lot of their songs these days. I don't think it's necessarily to slow down the crowd, more so he just gets bored with singing the songs exactly the same.

Some songs you just have so long to perform before you stop resonating with them and you can't tap into that raw feeling anymore. In this arrangement, Jamie is playing the leads which he doesn't really usually do as either Alex or Miles Kane would play that part.
