A little more strengthening and you’ll do great en pointe A common misconception is that pointe shoes are made of wood; they’re actually made of many layers of fabric, cardboard, leather, and paper all hardened together with glue/paste. Which is how the materials can break down and mold to the dancers foot, then die. They’re such a fascinating and personal tool for ballet dancers :)
Pointe shoes do not have a wood block, they are made like papier-mâché. But good job!

Hi ballet dancer here and I just want to clarify some things for you. Pointe shoes are made out of fabric, cardboard, satin and glue (basically paper mache) not wood. Also if you are in a correctly fitted shoe then you shouldn't have pain at all, you will feel pressure but you shouldn't have pain.

Hey Saige I’m a dancer too! Keep working on your strength and put lots of focus on your technique being strong on pointe is important but studying and correcting your technique will make a huge difference, your hard work will pay off in the long run 🫶🫶
Yeah i thought it was strange at the start you saying you would wear someone elses shoes. I felt your disappointment there, i really hope you stick with the plan and we get to see you do it in the summer. Best of luck. Love your channel. I just became subscriber 501 lol.

You can use Demi pointe shoes for pre pointe classes to strengthen your muscles for pointe work
not related to the video but you're sooo pretty! how is your skin so clear and glowy?
When you are still on your first couple shoes even if you have very good feet if you also get a hard shoe I know girls who have made those first pairs last almost a year
Look into getting Demi pointes!

Im very entrigued as to what these various reasons are. Im just nosey. You look exactly like i would imagine a ballerina to look. Youre like the stereotypical one. Healthy, very good looking but not so beautiful your face is a distraction. Thst sounded wrong. I think you know what i mean. Yes beautiful but in a clean wholesome way, not at all sultry. We have to remember ballet is a superficial art, its about beauty and grace and in our modern times I worry that our sensitivity might tarnish the art.
