Late Night Lycett is on every Friday on Channel 4!
I really like Joe. When he's not throwing gags, you see he's such a compassionate and thoughtful person.
I like silly Joe, I love thoughtful Joe. Also love that he is trying to fly the flag for trolling as a way to tweak noses, rather than just being horrible, which is what is seems to have come to mean now
Omfg you couldn't of got anyone better for Honesty Box. I love Joe Lycett. Omfg yeah it was someone in Belfast who called the police on him. We were told the show after the incident. Please do not call the police on me. As someone in the last show did. We were all shocked. Like seriously you called the police on Joe. Surely you know what he's like why did you go to see him if you don't like his work.
Joe Lycett is Julian Clary and Paul Ogrady's love child
Accurate! And that's why he's such a legend.
Love me some Lycett ❤🎉
Setting the bar higher for comedians, expecting them to deliver new and interesting jokes that are actually creative, not supporting lazy comedians who don’t have original material… that is a good thing. So why are people so scared of cancel culture. It’s literally just about not supporting comedians/artists/… who deliver bad, lazy, unoriginal and unfunny material. Stop whining about cancel culture please I can’t hear it anymore.
Cancelling is not the same as not supporting.
No. It's preventing people from saying things they disagree with.
It's just the market/boycotts at work.
This dude rocks, first time seeing him.
It’s surprisingly serious and definitely honest ❤ Wonderful 😊
Joe absolutely nailing "wokeness" in comedy there. Top fella ❤️
GOOD EGG 🥚
gang, remember throwing tomatoes at standups? or like, beheading court jesters? great term-not new, not hurting anyone that's actually funny. in every other industry it's "having to be good".
looks like Joe is going through a John Lydon phase
People in the comments proving his point about cancel culture. lmao
Thank you , Mr Butterslip !
I had three jagerbombs in a row then an undercooked donner wrap with too much hot sauce ... The next morning ... OMG.
Wokeness isn't killing comedy. It's providing it with a new subject for jokes and gags.
Just ask Ricky Gervais and Dave Chapelle 😊
Marcus Meakin (Count Dankula) was literally arrested, charged and, sentenced over a joke. But yeah, wokeness is great and no comedian is at risk. Also, woke comedy is terrible. Just look at "The gender agenda", multiple comedians all regurgitating the same joke "haha I'm queer! Yass queen".
@@callummcintyre713 Joe Lycett was visited by the police and even mentions it in this video 😂 Talk about gaslighting yourself
@@CaptainHowdy-mw9vc OK, so how does that prove there's no issue? It just means he's either too privelaged to not acknowledge the problem or, he's an idiot. At least J. K. Rowling pointed out being in the public eye and, incredibly wealthy makes it easier for her to exercise her freedom of speech and expression.
@@callummcintyre713 You could say the same thing about middle-aged men joking about their wives or mother-in-laws, which lots of people just don't relate to anymore. You already figured out that you don't relate to queer-centric material, so why not just move on and find the stuff you like? Like Joe says in this video, it's all out there.
Somehow i feel i need a Joe Lycett and Frankie Boyle collab...😂
Context should means more than words, especially in comedy. thats what either makes or brakes humour... Context. not words.
Jajaja Es bueno despejarse escuchando irónica realidad cómica. Lo disfruté mucho ❤❤😂
Very enjoyable.
Learned a new word. Combatative 😂😂😂
Yes! One of the biggest lies people say is a sense of humour is sexy. It is, if your already seen as sexy. I've been told by many people I'm the funniest person they know. Never laughed any of them into bed!!
5:57 I don’t understand how in one breath you can say to people ‘you don’t have to watch stuff you don’t like’ but then advocate cancel culture. Why not just tell people they don’t have to watch things they don’t want to and not advocate that comedians be cancelled just because some people don’t like their material. (edit was for spelling error)
Pret could be short for pretentious lol😅
Joe Lycett is a legend, great to see him (or her?) again!
He's obviously a bloke...
@@KeiGambit (its a reference to one of his jokes) :)
TOO BLOKE!
Joe, why are you starting to look like Barry Manilow?❤
I Lycett a lot
This guys wife is fit
As a newbie that wants to invest, you must have these three things in mind 1. Have a long term mindset. 2. Be willing to take risk. 3. Be careful on money usage, if you're not spending to earn back, then stop spending. 4. Never claim to know - Ask questions and it's best you work with a financial advisor.
I'm favoured financially, Thank you Jesus $32,000 weekly profit regardless of how bad it gets on the economy.
Thanks to Mrs Maria Davis.
She's a licensed broker here in the states
YES!!! That's exactly her name (Maria Davis) so many people have recommended highly about her and am just starting with her 😊 from Brisbane Australia🇦🇺
I'm surprised that this name is being mentioned here, I stumbled upon one of her clients testimony on CNBC news last week.
The beeping of swearing is so frustrating
Yeah for real. What is the point of the "youtube kids" app if they just make evryone cater their content for kids on the youtube app
Blimey 😮 he's aged
Wut are you wearing
Absolutely lovely bloke. Though I also love Roy 'Chubby' Brown. I love most good comedians.
Lycett is a nice guy and I like him but he is dismissing cancel culture from within his own small industry bubble. If he believes that every "edgy" comedian is the reincarnation of Bernard Manning, then perhaps he would have a case for wokeness being good for comedy, but there have been a host of up and coming comedians who have had their career progression detonated for telling mild jokes that were often misinterpreted by over anxious audience members who complained to the venue.
Wokeness is just the updated Political correctness. There are always people/things that go too far ... Doesn't undermine the underlying issue.
what people dont get is yes your entitled to free speech but doesn't mean there isnt consequences for what you say
The issue is small but hyper vocal groups calling for canceling someone's career for using speech that they just happen to disagree with. Part of free speech is tolerating different opinions without attacking them, within limits of course
Joe Limpwrist. The lovechild of Julian Clary and Ann Robinson. The favourite comedian of the Woke Studies department at West Byfleet Poly.
“Quite funny for a puff”
I'd stay away from Scotland, they don't like "fun" up here. Anything remotely edgy will get you 7 years in jail. We're reinventing Blue Peter and Crackerjack for the new Summer viewing schedule.
Say it on stage jo n if you get a laugh all well n good...if you get a punch in the face tough!
Joe Lycett and Jane's Acaster are the main leaders in the cancel culture movement. There's no point asking him.
You just have a dull and boring sense of humour
@sigillography3062 If you consider Ricky Gervais, Larry David, Dave Chapelle, Bill Burr, Katherine Ryan and Jimmy Carr to be dull and boring, then I'm not the person here with the crap taste in comedy.
Anyone else remember when comedians were funny? How far we’ve fallen… 😭
Shut up Colin Robinson. Are you literally just writing inflammatory boomer opinions to drain people's energy online?
Some ppl put this muppet in tha same lge as burr & chappelle 🤦♂️
@@Murph_82 indeed, embarrassing.
Sam Hyde , Shane Gellis and Nick Mullen are all three canceled and they are the best thing to come out of comedy in two decades.
They are so "cancelled" with their multiple ongoing series' and Netflix specials.
Shane Gillis is very funny but people who champion ‘cancelled’ comics are fucking cringe
How can you be “ cancelled” whilst you’re actively working lmao
Rich, LGBT comedian with establishment approved jokes tells aspiring comedians "they have nothing to worry about". Up next, Taylor Swift tells her fans to "just follow your dreams".
It alleged comedians like Lycett that are killing comedy, he's about as funny as diagnoses for a terminal illness.
Wokeness is DEFINITELY killing comedy. Comedy is about making fun of things that woke people now call “protected classes” ergo, you cannot make fun of anyone or anything that the wokeratti deem protected.
No, they’re allowed to make fun of whatever they want, but others allowed to have an opinion and take action on what was said. Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from criticism or consequences.
@@jbrock8129 so why does the opinion of a few offended listeners supersede that of the speaker? Why does their subjective feelings based on words spoken mean that action needs to be taken? Just because someone is offended, it doesn’t mean they are right.
@@JPWhite1what action is ever taken? Every comedian claiming to be "cancelled" has had multiple specials and sell out live shows consistently so what has happened to them apart from some people exercising their free speech by criticising them.
Damn... I am free to never see this thing again.
I used to love him if im honest, but he truly makes me sick now. His complete ideological capture and celebration of not cancel culture, but directed attacks on free speech and free exp[session. And you think he would know about that, wouldn't you?? He is the biggest disappointment, and he now scares me with his willing gleefulness at the woke ideological plague that has ripped through society. Just so sad to see
TBH a serious algorithm fuck up if that shiet ended up on my playlist. If a cancel lulture is a good thing in your eyes, there You go have a dislike and go on bother someone else on other playlist.
Seriously? You’re so fu*cking fragile you can’t bear NOT hearing people spew hate at already denigrated groups? It must really hurt you to see people stick up for the most abused factions of society. How unfair of them to put someone’s health and safety over your sense of humor.
Poor snowflake so offended by a little man in a green shirt.
Saw a woke comedian the other day making the most vile, unfunny "jokes"about my Catholic religion. No cancel there, we just have to suck it up
Was it about the church covering up all those priests being pedos? Because that wasn’t a comedian, that was just the news.
I swear he has aged so quickly.
I thought the same, but then I realised its because I haven't watched him for a decade.
I can’t stand Joe honestly one of the worst so called comedians there is :( awful
