    • @@GodFatherGB pretty sure Alyx comes before half life 2 but after 1, so really Alyx is a spin-off. It would not make sense if the third game in the episode series took place before the first two. Also The plan for half life 2 episode 3 three was that Gordon explored the aurora borealis.

    • Yeah, also the scene where Gordon absorbs Chell’s portal actually makes sense in the context of the universe. Black Mesa is believed to have copied Aperture’s equipment so them being able to combine like that makes a lot of sense.

    • Nah it isnt. Chell firts got her Portal gun in Portal 1 (2010) and never left Aperture Science after the first game. Due to Portal 2 playing a few thousand years in the Future it wouldnt be possible. Unfortunately though....

    • @@rycei9827 You say that but if you read the Portal:Ratman comics you can see on one of the lab desks there is a gravity gun. This either means that they invented it as I said or they were using it as a reference for the portal device. Either way my theory of why the portal gun and the gravity gun interact with each other so easily makes sense.
