  • This makes more sense than people who have the money and live alone in a giant house. His choice of home is sensible. I like it.

  • Great place! Nice Fellow. House has a bit of a boat-like feeling inside. Very cool. One change I would make if building from scratch would be to move the toilet out of view from the bathroom doorway. If no other placement option, turn it 90° to back to the right wall and put up a pony wall (1/2 wall) so you don't see the commode when the door is open but the window will still be visible. 👍

    • yes, I find it so unpleasant looking at a toilet from another room and would feel embarrassed having guests come into what is otherwise a great space. Perhaps he simply needs to keep the door closed?

I have lived in my house 37 years and all the stuff I have is depressing. I envy him. I wonder if I could do that. And where would I put my many shoes! Oh my !

  • I love the rational, humble decision to live in a tiny house even though he makes his living selling 'luxury' property. He seems like a congenial man who understands the value of living harmoniously, close to the water and in community above an ostentatious house that demands lots of up keep and stuff. Having said that I respect his not putting value in stuff and he tells us that he used to own lots of stuff and so clearly made a conscious decision to shed it - I actually would prefer the home if it didn't look so much like holiday home that he rents out. Perhaps if he had books or paintings or objects of affection the house would feel cosier, more homely. The only personal touch was his mother's bowl.

  • 😅 A lot of things people are not being told about the tiny home. Be prepared to pay four times more insurance on your tiny home then you do regular home. The lot price increases very fast.Becomes not worth owning it and living in it plus the lot.Owner's forced you to buy high insurancs to protect them from weather condition.Which is you end up better to be living in a regular home. You better think about all this before You start making decisions because they would not tell you the cost until you own home and you want to move it and get l on the list.

  • That's Me I want a tiny house for 3 people tiny house, We are homeless now Me My Husband and teenage son lost our home of 20 years because We couldn't pay properly tax Because My husband lost His job of 33 years to take care of Me because I was diagnosed with Muscular dystrophy in 2009 and Our realtor Gary Green wanted to buy our home 4 years before We lost it and He said he would pay the properly tax and We was going to sell Him the house because we couldn't pay properly tax so we had to sell it to Gary Green or the people that bought houses So Gary Green said that He would pay for the property taxes so we would have money to buy another home " We trusted Gary Green- but on the day the properly tax was supposed to be paid He didn't and We lost everything But Gary Green still got our home of 20 years that We loved ' So Gary Green and His family are right now living in Our home Me My Husband and teenage son are homeless staying with different family members we want to be together How can a realtor in Chattanooga Tennessee get by with what He did to Us? It's not fair that We are homeless because of a heartless realtor named Gary Green ' He has His own realtor business in
