Disbanding was a smart move. After winning TI9, when they played on Pubs they noticed that there are newer ways to play the game, better teams and players. They noticed they lost their edge. Better retire as champions.

My favorite moment is when Ceb snaps him out of it after the win against EG. I’ve felt that kind of anger and while it does drive you, it’s such a draining feeling. What a great friend to immediately recognize this and make sure he can smile and enjoy his victory rather than seep in his anger.

There was almost a Petabyte of footage that had to be managed, and the team's server providers had to keep coming in to add more RAM because saving/updating the project between the team was a nightmare. I'm glad I was at least a part of the process lol

Man with how sports/esports are franchised nowadays this has to be the greatest competitive underdog story of our generation. I have never played DOTA2 and I barely understand it but I still come back to watch again every few months. Such an amazing story and I couldnt be happier for the team.

If this was an anime plot: Ceb is the senior/old player whom everybody thought that he was not good enough, so he sticks to coaching; dreams of winning as a player were long buried. You can clearly see his anger, his disappointment and sadness. However, when Ceb pat johan in the head and suddenly his face got lighter we knew that everything he is feeling suddenly disappeared thats what a true friend does
This was one of the best moments I’ve seen. That tap on the head made n0tail’s darkness go.
if Ceb did not snap Johan out of his emotion, they wouldn't win TI, Johan would probably be still be drowned by his emotion, he is gonna be unfocused and confused throught out the entire series, so technically speaking Ceb kinda mentally saved Johan and OG itself. The only luck OG has is that they are lucky to have each other as friend.

They gave their all for OG. The stars just aligned and the gods gave their warmest smile for NoTail. This TI felt like such a warm light embraced his agonizing heart--from the dreadful losses and the devastating betrayal. When NoTail was asked who was there for him, prior to seeing Ceb surrounded by his family, and NoTail responds "All six of them" then showing the OG Team, it was such a heartwarming scene. Maybe NoTail will never get the Aegis again, or maybe he won't ever reach TI again. Be that as it may, TI 2018 and 2019 already made him a legend--and he got his *family* to thank for that. ❤

It's been years since I've watched this but there was a time I was in a dark place and this helped keep me afloat. Rewatched this video again today and still brought tears to my eyes esp the last part with n0tail saying all 6 of them. Reminded me of my friends and family who were there with me. It's because of this video I decided to put an Aegis of Champion tattoo to remind myself how far I've gotten by and if ever I get into a dark place again to just remember this moment who were there with me and what I did to carry on.

I was feeling down, so came here to watch this for the 6th time. Greatest story of all time, so happy I'm aware of it and get to experience it -- it was insane being in Vancouver for those games against LGD.

Before throwing his hands in the air to celebrate, he takes a moment to glance over at Johan. Despite having just won TI after years of retirement, despite becoming a millionaire overnight, despite his own undeniable glory, his friend and teammate is still the first thing on his mind. People don't give Ceb enough credit, you can tell from the way he speaks, that unlike a certain somebody, his own glory never came ahead of what the team needed. Whether it'd be player or coach, he wanted OG to win more than anything else. Truly a beautiful french man. It's funny to think that after all this time, and Fly leaving OG in the worst way possible, n0tail would find someone endlessly more deserving of calling himself a teammate and friend, in a washed up french coach.

After team Dk disbanded in 2014 I thought I would never be able to enjoy Dota as much. Watching them play and win both TIs made my heart warm finally someone who I was rooting for won a TI. These days there are several new players and faces I will watch from time to time but it will never be the same. Thanks for the memories :')

Still the best dota storyline in history. The struggle of OG from almost disbanding, going from open qualifier in just a few months and still winning the Aegis. Wow no one can make a better storyline in eSports like this. Until now I still feel the goosebumps and the emotion while watching this documentary.

I think regret is written on the steam page description of the game but one thing is ull never be able to let it go...one way or another ull always come back to it
The only reason to play it is to understand fully the characteristic of all heroes. Then get out before this game and the toxicity of low level players consumes you. But when you know how to play every heroes then you enjoy watching it even more. Heck to make it simple just play with the bots until you carry every game and then you can stop.
@@goonymiami playing against bots doesn't allow you to understand how the game actually works (because the bots just stay in lane and then 5-men-deathball-mid suddenly). But it's better than nothing

Man I remember watching this live online at work and losing my shit when Ceb got those two epic plays. I got some ppl at my job into the game when I broke down everything, the betrayal, the revenge, the comeback, the plays, the prize pool. 2018 and 2019 were 100% OGs best patches lol
