The universe is everything. It includes all of space, and all the matter and energy that space contains. It even includes time itself and, of course, it includes you. Earth and the Moon are part of the universe, as are the other planets and their many dozens of moons

  • "Proxima Centauri is 1.3 light years away, we would need to travel at the speed of light for 4 years"... Im not a mathematician but Id say this is wrong.

    • @@SamJones-ql3ze No, the universe isn't expanding this quickly. It's just wrong. Proxima Centauri is 4.2 light years away. Traveling at light speed it would take 4.2 years to travel there. Technically because of relativity, while 4.2 light years would pass for the people on Earth watching you, for you in the ship, zero time would pass because you are going at light speed. However it is not possible for anything made of matter to travel at light speed.

  • It’s interesting to note that there are some discrepancies in classification of wandering space planets, rouge, planemo, or not quite a brown dwarf. These objects potentially could yield the mother load of discovery just as Teagarden, Gliese, or Trappist exoplanets prove to be awesomely promising for viable habitable biome’s. The microbes most likely aren’t the only forms of extraterrestrial life somewhere out there and in all actuality it’s only a matter of time until a point in space exploration opens up something truly beneficial to humanity, maybe not soon or maybe not later but scientific possibilities are paramount to a self aware, sentient understanding.

  • Basically this guy definitely got it wrong with the 1.3 light years because in truth our next door neighbor Proxima Centauri is a little over 4 light years actually instead of 1.3 . Also it takes 4 years traveling 186,000 miles per second aka speed at which light travels at nonstop for four years to reach it.

  • So much wrong. An astronomical unit is the distance from the sun to the earth. How is 1.5 AU 1/7th the distance for the sun to Mercury unless Mercury moved to beyond Jupiter. If you want to go 4.2 light years at 100th the speed of light it would take 420 years not 4 hours.

  • Pre-Earth/Theia time bracket = Genesis 1 verse 2 = 14 billion years ago ,before Tiamat Genesis 1 verse 6 = 4.6 billion years ago = beginning of the evolution of intelligent life (Black holes/Dark matter/dark energy) is beyond Time/space/matter and light ... dark energy is the conscious intelligence behind and beyond the veil and grand design of the all /Universe ,like "let there be light" can only come from a conscious state of being ,like solids/liquids/gas .... (I am) is another state of matter(being/i am) so Solid/liquid/gas//dark matter ..(mind over matter/mental alchemy) literally dark energy is the proof of a soul human "electricity is neither created ,nor destroyed ,just changes forms"
