I'm a bit late with my commenting however, your Emu (or Ostrich) looks great, they can be hard to distinguish with the heads, the whole body needs to be seen to compare. Living in Australia, painting Emus can be tricky. I absolutely LOVE your version with the colours. Emus do have blue on their upper neck going down ¾ the way down the neck. You make it look SO easy, beautiful finish.

Hi Annie Merry Xmas ! Just discovered your channel and love your birds . Do you have instructions on how to get the traceable onto the canvas ? I think you you s charcoal pencil ?
Merry Christmas Ivette! I use chalk pastels on the back of a photo or traceable, tape it on to my canvas (pastel side down, image side up) and trace it with a ball point pen.
