can you make a more through video showing your setup as well as do's and don't with using the shotmaker. Also what shape is your shot? Does it have dimples or tear drop shape?

Hi fella, Cant get one of these in the UK, can you give me some measurements of the pan especially the angle between the dripper face and the ramp? And the depth of the ramp? I am trying to get some drippers from Magna engineering, but will fab the pan up. Thanks Gordon

Hi Joe, ( I hope that is your name ) Many thanks for your reply. One other question. The lead do you mix other lead to it like Wheel Weights, Lino Type or any other metal. to make the lead it bit harder. Cheers Bill

Have you thought about setting the container bucket in an ice bath or freezing bottles of water and dropping them in when the coolant temp is too high? Might work for you

@bill11738 yes the temp is inportant run into it untill it gets to 130 degrees not over 140 gets to thin and hot wont cool enough as the shot falls through it i have 20 gal of soap it will drop shot for 4 hours hen we shut it off take all the shot out let it cool some refill it with the pump go eat or get a drink come back adn go again home it helps James Stewart is the pro 50 years making shot i am just glad to help

@kingfish3099 Maybe your angle is to steep on your shot maker forcing the led out of the drippers too fast, try leveling it out just a little.

@bill11738 i use sun brand liq soap you can find it online i buy mine at the dollar store or walmart do not water it down right out of the bottle it will run about 100 lbs. an hour gonna melt lead sunday in fact about time to make shot

@pissfist we flux it with wax watch muffin video i put up,shows it,then as the lead melts in the dripper,we clean skim of the top with a tea spoon,the cleaner the better i have found,less clogging up the drippers, i need to post a clip of the cement mixer with graphite in it too,

I know this is an old comment but powdered graphite can be got farm suppliers - as graphite powder is used on seed machines with tube seed drills.

Hey Joe, is this the "Black Max model" or the "Standard model with the Double Drippers"? I have the Black Max model that I got with the #6 drippers and ordered a set of #8 double drippers and I seem to make about 68%-38% good to bad shot when running my double drippers and a friend of mine wants to buy one of Stewart's machines but if you have the standard and are having just as much or greater success I'll tell him to get a standard machine and save money
