  • I never thought to start sewing from the straight side instead of the point side. All my years of quilting and bunching up…. Dahhhh. Thanks for that tip that I should have thought of. Keep sharing the simplest of sewing processes.

  • Sherri, your videos are always outstanding. It's so helpful when you not only explain the piecing process but also are very diligent in showing your pressing techniques. This block is beautiful. Using the creative grids tool is going to be terrific as an option to making these a bit easier and two at a time.

  • Thank you for explaining this to me. I haven't even started the designer mystery quilt from last year because I didn't understand the ruler nor did I have the courage to do it the other way so I just didn't do anything.

  • I don't have the ruler, and just wondering if there is a way to do it without the ruler? I did do a practice one and not happy with my results! When sewing the square to the triangles and then adding larger triangle, my point was almost quarter inch off!!!! HELP

    @CarlaSell-fl2hr@CarlaSell-fl2hrАй бұрын
    • You can definitely make it without the ruler. Just be sure your pieces are cut accurately and that your seam allowances are right at 1/4".

  • I’m sorry to be a complainer but the picture on the PDF pattern is not the same fabrics as what you show on the video or the blog and I’m trying to match your color way so it gets confusing. Also, I can’t find the color way for the outside blocks for the rest of the months
