This is only one of the ways to manage water. Cities/ localities should also explore other ways like rain water storage, improving ground water levels etc to reduce the effects of droughts.

Something was off abour lightening and thunder it lasted like one hour never in my life i witnessed lightening and thunder that last 1 straight hour . I remember in 3rd or 4th grade (early 80's,late 70's) reading a 'recommended" book called, "My Dad, the weathernan" or something similar (can't seem to find book now) and it was a story about a little girl's Dad, a weatherman, who told his daughter about how "rain can be made". Beginning of storey went into how she and her friend were complaining about how hot it is. Then, her Dad went into detail about how rain can be "made" through the use of airplanes...intro into geo-engineering ...I dismissed it but now, later on, I see that this has been going on for quite some time now. Rain cannot be "made" by anything other than nature, other than on a very small scale, laboratory controlled environment.

Ok, cloud seeding, seems harmless enough.. fly a plane, drop some frozen water- it combines with the moisture in the air & POOF; Rain. We as a society accept this & who's to say 1 in 10 of those planes aren't dropping carcinogens or poisonous chemicals, hard metals - whatever.. we truly are down a sketch road.

@@Harcorwrestler my friend, Dubai is the only state that even uses this technology, and up till this point, no other country has been affected by their seeding. Scientists monitor the wind patterns and a cloud's supposed direction before starting a seeding operation.
I know cloud seeding has been around since the 90s because remembering when I was a young teenager it was a rain drought one summer and they spoke on the news, dropping dry ice in the clouds to make it rain but for some reason nobody remembers this but me 🤷🏾♂️

It could still be moisture in the atmosphere. Clear skies doesn’t mean dry that’s why on some rather clear days you can see small less significant clouds in the sky. Sometimes they go completely unnoticed

seeding only works on clouds ready to rain anyway and it only just makes them rain on a place they weren't going to,depriving some other place of the rain it needs (which seems unethical to me). It doesn't work on white fluffy clouds and if there are no clouds it goes with out saying that the result is zero.....also it doesn't work a lot of the time and it requires a lot of expensive chemicals we may not want to leave in the environment as the long term effect is not known

Well, this morning when I looked in the sky, it was nice and clear, blue skies, hardly any clouds, I did notice planes leaving trails everywhere. Now, 3 hours later, clouds are everywhere, still see the planes leaving trails everywhere. This is nothing new, it has been going on for decades, but they are getting better at it.

Last year here in Oregon at this time the temperature was 30 degrees cooler. Absolutely no rain so far. One day it sprinkled in the evening, that's it.
Remember the movie, Forest Gump? when he was in Vietnam and it rained for FOUR MONTHS? that was Military Modification (weapon) tactics, to slow down the Vietcong or disrupt them for lack of a better word. The U.S Military has weapons beyond our knowledge. Hugo Chavez wasn't too far of when he said that the earthquake in Haiti was intended for Venezuela but somehow it backfired and that the (USA) has weather modification weapons that (maybe) in a hundred years from now will be known. Just think about this "cloud seeding" science in the 196os Vietnam era most folks couldn't understand this science (used for military purposes first!!)

The quantity of silver iodine used is so small it is virtually undetectable. Any small-town New Year's Eve firework releases more metals in the air than a typical cloudseeding operation. Besides, dry ice (CO2) is being used lately instead of silver salts. Any type of weather modification as a weapon is banned by international treaties. You are probably taking too much burden on your shoulders.

It would have to be in a high enough concentration to cause any negative health effects. It’s not even close. The only people potentially exposed to high enough concentrations are those working with it.

Heard it also in Louisiana, but it prevented the rain, got pics of it also, the off colored smoke coming out of the other clouds thru an opening.

President Bolsenaro wanted the Amazon to burn for profit. Now they use it for agriculture. We need to have soy to feed cattle for the growing demand of meat consumption. So why stop it with expensive artificial rain? And the fire in Australia was to big to stop with cloud seeding. And it needs preparation they say.

Seems to me you are missing some ingredients in your seeding like aluminum, barium and strontium among others
