I really like how the designers asked if he would be comfortable wearing the heals for a really long time since he would have to stand and walk a lot. It shows care for Johnny, and that fashion doesn't always negate comfort. My respect for the designers increased 10-fold during that discussion.

I don't know who reached out first, but Johnny is a celebrity who is attending MET Gala wearing his clothes and promoting the brand so I would expect the designer to be nice to him and ask for his opinions and stuff. I don't know how Peter is usually like with other models who are not famous, but it seems like both Peter and Johnny were nice to each other and had a great time all in all, so I'm happy about that. And Johnny looked absolutely stunning in those fits so I wouldn't mind seeing them working together again!

Anna Wintour (editor of vogue, the one who throws the event) invites the designers... it's about the fashion industry, kinda like a "senior project" lol.. The designer is suppose to show off their best design that "matches the theme" or their best design aesthetic ..The designer then chooses their plus 1..a model to show off the look. It's become tradition for designer to choose a celebrity. Peter was the invited designer and choose Johnny to be his model. To the fashion industry the night is about the designer's and their designs NOT about the celebrity attending. So the the op was correct in saying it was very nice of Peter to consider Johnny's opinion.

Why did I cry when he rolled down the window to greet his fans? I would have loved to be there but that's not why I cried. I think maybe I'm just so happy for him. Just watching him get these blessings just. Some of the best fashion. Just check out some of there fashion shows with some of the top models. Johnny was so polite to everyone around him. totally agree on everyone’s praises 💚 on another note i do have an appreciation for the met gala now. a lot of people say that nobody is in theme…i guess they are expecting a costume party lol but fashion is so much more than that…its not supposed to be all costume its art. from art you get inspired and make your own not copy & paste... so i think peter do executed the theme perfectly! as well as many other designers. a lot of people were in theme in my book.

I really like how the designers asked if he would be comfortable wearing the heals for a really long time since he would have to stand and walk a lot. It shows care for Johnny, and that fashion doesn't always negate comfort. My respect for the designers increased 10-fold during that discussion.

But he is a celebrity, not a regular model. I don't know who reached out first, but Johnny is a celebrity who is attending MET Gala wearing his clothes and promoting the brand so I would expect the designer to be nice to him and ask for his opinions and stuff. I don't know how Peter is usually like with other models who are not famous, but it seems like both Peter and Johnny were nice to each other and had a great time all in all, so I'm happy about that. And Johnny looked absolutely stunning in those fits so I wouldn't mind seeing them working together again!

Anna Wintour (editor of vogue, the one who throws the event) invites the designers... it's about the fashion industry, kinda like a "senior project" lol.. The designer is suppose to show off their best design that "matches the theme" or their best design aesthetic ..The designer then chooses their plus 1..a model to show off the look. It's become tradition for designer to choose a celebrity. Peter was the invited designer and choose Johnny to be his model. To the fashion industry the night is about the designer's and their designs NOT about the celebrity attending. So the the op was correct in saying it was very nice of Peter to consider Johnny's opinion.

Why did I cry when he rolled down the window to greet his fans? I would have loved to be there but that's not why I cried. I think maybe I'm just so happy for him. totally agree on everyone’s praises 💚 on another note i do have an appreciation for the met gala now. a lot of people say that nobody is in theme…i guess they are expecting a costume party lol but fashion is so much more than that…its not supposed to be all costume its art. from art you get inspired and make your own not copy & paste... so i think peter do executed the theme perfectly! as well as many other designers. a lot of people were in theme in my book.
