I also want to add that most farmers have love for their animals, and treat them quite well. There are exceptions to that, but from my experience even the meat farmers I’ve known have really cared about their livestock. This has just been my experience.

I know you said that as a joke but cows do actually do that lol I work on a dairy farm and when I give my favourite cow scritches there will always be other not-pet cows that stop and stare. Sometimes they will slowly walk up and sniff me. Sometimes they just stand there with a sad look like 'oh she's enjoying that, I want some too but I'm scared'. A few times I've had cows creep up and stand on the other side of Spot, right next to her, and stick there heads under her neck to get closer and check me out 🤣 I been able to make friends with a few cows because Spots a great example to them that I'm not a threat 😊

Back in 89 I was a Pommie Jacaru (Cowboy) in Australia. We were taking a truck of cattle to another Station but we had to stop for an hour because there’s restrictions on what time you can take a huge truck through town. I was leaning against this fence and out of nowhere came the biggest white Charolais bull I’ve ever seen. I’m 5.11 & broad shouldered, his head was bigger than my entire torso & his muscles bulged like bubble gum. He was hoooooj! Helluva sight.

I know you said that as a joke but cows do actually do that lol I work on a dairy farm and when I give my favourite cow scritches there will always be other not-pet cows that stop and stare. Sometimes they will slowly walk up and sniff me. Sometimes they just stand there with a sad look like 'oh she's enjoying that, I want some too but I'm scared'. A few times I've had cows creep up and stand on the other side of Spot, right next to her, and stick there heads under her neck to get closer and check me out 🤣 I been able to make friends with a few cows because Spots a great example to them that I'm not a threat 😊
