During DAY1 World of Cars last weekend and BorderRun last year we saw this crazy Nissan GT-R R35 which has been tuned by Total Car Concepts. It now has a built engine that can produce 2000HP. But in the drag races this GT-R was only running around 1000HP. In this video you can see some loud accelerations, rolling launch control and flames.

Doesnt look like its 2000hp, more like 1000hp otherwise it would be breaking loose all 4 tires on unprepped and wet roads
This GT-R can produce 2000HP, but I know that in the drag races it was only running at around 1000HP. So he is not always using the maximum power. Like u said, it's pretty difficult to use all that power on normal roads.
You can't hook anything above 1000 on street tyres
Has an alpha 12 package on it, I also suspect he is able to divide the Horsepower into 2-3 settings, like for example 800 usable HP, 1200 usable HP and 2000. Also depends on the type of gas he fills his car with too.

@@ISeekMANBEARPIG yes you are correct. Here in the states (Texas) I have a 2017 alpha 16 gtr built by AMS performance. I used to have a 4 map settings but now I run 6. 6 being all 1600hp +. Map 1 being just under 800 for the more causal driving comfort driving. I also run my awd set to 50/50, burnout mode (RWD only) or 80% power to the back and 20% when roll racing. If you ever get to ride in a 2000hp + gtr be ready for a new experience!! The only thing I hate is the crazy loud built transmission whine at low rpm :/

2,000hp is debatable. Closer to 1,000
It has multiple maps, 2000hp is the highest power output.
I am sure it has loads of setting but if a caption stated 2,000bhp. No one expect a clip of it running at half power with a bold statement like that. Easy to see that it is not running at that on this clip and even easier to say it is 2,000bhp without proving it.

if this car had even 1000hp, It would leave that evo in the dust. :) just saying..... maybe it was running low boost, and on pump gas 600?->> It did misfire few times like crazy.....

@@ExoticCarspotters Then it's not a 2000hp car... There are too many youtubers and car guys that say "oh my car has 1500bhp+"... But in reality, daily it runs 900bhp on pump fuel... If they say 1500bhp+ then it has to be running race fuel / E85+ and probably meth to keep the temps down... Most will not spend money putting race fuel into their car to go to a car meet... So lets start being real... Cause imagine saying you are a 2000bhp car and a 900bhp evo or a 1000bhp GTR beats you, how do you think that will make you look ;-) , will make you look like a lair ;-)
@@mrgjs4044 theres a thing called flex fuel where it will automatically adjust to the blend on the fly and maps which you can switch to different levels upon a button press. Only an amateur would try to go 1500+ on street tires anyway.

Unfortunate he kept traction on in the races and the car kept messing around but u can never go wrong with safety
