  • The Shabbat still applies today. In the found Hebrew Gospel of Matthew, In verse 5 of chapter 5, it says Blessed are the Resting Ones rather than the word meek. Resting Ones is defined as those that rest in obedience to YHWS’ ways. Resting isn’t just just about physically resting on the Shabbat. Part of it, but there is more to being in His Rest.

And you shall not go up by steps to my altar, that your nakedness be not exposed on it.” From what I gather, this phrase is telling us to always stay GROUNDED (don’t go up the stairs). Stay connected to Earth whilst worshiping GOD because that is what keeps us grounded. “As above, so below”. To ground oneself, so that one may build solid foundations within self, family and in society, so, we do not loose our selves in false pride ( exposing our nakedness)🌈♾️💫

This can be practiced on any day, as long as people choose one day of the week to do so. As always, great job on the dialogue & unraveling of the divine principles of life. WE are, the ones we’ve been waiting for to change the world for the better. There is always help through FAITH. Sometimes kids are allowed to stay home, so they can learn more things. Things that cannot be taught at school. Sometimes by osmosis. Sick or not, even if the kids think they know everything😅

Using this logic, since God values us and sacrificed His son for us, therefore we are His gods. Which just is not right. You can value what isnt a God. You can sacrifice for that you love, but that which isn't a God.

  • Great catchy opening with "Remember the Sabbath day." Had this question with a fellow Christian friend recently. Because the nominal "Cultural-Christian" weekend is absolutely depressing and terrible. As we thought. People are noisy as hell on Saturday, mowing the lawn, washing their cars, going out with their five dogs etc. And people just do the crap on Saturdays which they couldn't finish during the week because of media consumption in the evenings. Whatever. So we had the idea to just give it a try, as far as we could, without - so to speak - LARPing as Jews. ;-) I'm excited to see where this goes. PS: One nit pick though: Christ did not resume the law to "just/only" 'Love thy neighbor as yourself', but it summarizes the Law. And in fact it is hoplessly unattainable as all 603 Jewish laws. It's equally difficult and impossible to keep. And THAT fascinates me. :) [as with all Christian stuff, you will find a different view on every street corner]

Jesus paid the price needed for our salvation. I cant tell if he believes any of that in the little I've seen of him. I dont know when Ive seen a greater word salad that makes less sense than Ive seen in these few minutes worth of words spoken by Peterson. • There are two types of Fear of the Lord. First Fear because you have sinned, like Adam & Eve, in the garden. They were afraid. Second Fear: you are forgiven out your sins and fear NOT being in the presence of the Lord. How can you be intimate with someone that you’re afraid of? God has called us to be His bride and He wants intimacy with us. If we are scared of Him, it would be difficult to have that connection in love and desire to be with Him.

  • The scriptures in Hebrews 4 discuss the entering into God's rest. Keeping the Sabbath is to enter into the rest of God which is in/through the God/Man Christ Jesus. It is not sacrifice that gives value to a thing. It is the NATURE OF the SACRIFICE THAT IS GIVEN that gives it value. Jesus sacrifice is the only one with merit. (The One with power to fulfill the law in a human Body) This is the core truth of redemption in Christ. That a Human Being can keep the law and atone for the broken law and through that, set people free who also are human. God who is human is the Redeemer. To be filled with Non Creation through creation. Godly people therefore, want to release the suffering of others through the atoning sacrifice of Christ, that atoning sacrifice removes the necessity for all other sacrifices. Other wise arises the pagan notion of human sacrifice in an attempt to fill a void that Christ Himself only can and already has fulfilled. He said from the cross, "It is finished." And so He entered into His rest (Sabbath)assured of the resurrection. Jesus does not destroy the law , but rather He fulfills it for both God and man, known as the reconciliation. Modern day thought leaves out the message that the law must be kept. Grace is not really grace without the power to remove sin's power as well as it's penalty. People know things are sin from inner conscience but there also should be an out ward witness to the truth. I do think there may be a void of understanding concerning teaching and posting The Ten Commandments in the schools /churches/ public places as a framework for culture and society, the 10 commandments being where our concept of civil law and justice are derived. I hope I am correct about this ,I think the Supreme Court ruled in favor of posting the 10 Commandments in schools and public places. Perhaps it is time for this to be revived and brought to the foreground as much as possible. Blessings.

  • The story of the Exodus occurred in history however all of the details were deliberately reversed in the Holy Bible, in one of the first religious propaganda spin stories, in order to make the monotheists look like the victims and the Egyptians look like the aggressors. In reality, it was the monotheists who were the aggressors and the Egyptians were the victims. In the 13th dynasty of Egypt people known by modern historians as the Hyksos, AKA the “shepherd kings”, conquered northern Egypt taking control of its throne for their own purposes. This foreign occupation lasted for about 300 years until a pharaoh descended of those original conquerors named Amenhetep the 4th tried to force monotheism on the Egyptian population; taking as his new name, one of several aliases, Akhenaten. For the native Egyptians, who had suffered the machinations of their foreign rulers, this was the last straw. Five Egyptian generals funded by the southern treasury of Egypt launched a military coup and exiled Amenhetep along with his Levitical priesthood. It was after his expulsion that, realizing he couldn’t work openly anymore, Amenhetep took his last alias - “Moses”; a name truncation derived from one of his relatives named Thutmoses. From that point, the propaganda of the Holy Bible was written.

  • So glad Jesus didn’t require a subscription to the free gospel. I don’t mind you guys monetising anything else (which you do and make enough money off of) but I do have an issue with the gospel being used to line peoples pockets. Smacks of a modern day version of when Jesus overthrew tables in the synagogue and likened it to a den of thieves. While your room is nothing comparable, it’s the same principle. Then again, Jesus isn’t believed, and I doubt we’d get any new testaments commentary either so what the heck. I think Ben should probably know better and it is a pity how many people will not benefit from this dialogue , or perhaps it’s not a bad thing with money as the prime objective.

  • The Ten Plagues, Exodus, Wanderings and Conquest stories are myths, as well as most of the characters in those tales. That's right, Xians! No god ever ordered any Joshua to sweep an army across Canaan in a campaign of genocidal destruction. Isn't that the _real_ 'good news'? 🤣 Wiki it!

  • Jesus spoke Aramaic. He called God in the Aramaic language. God in Aramaic is Alāhā. Jesus (s.a.w.) called God: Allah. Muhammad (s.a.w.) was the successor of Jesus with the persecuting words of Allah (s.w.t.) written down by Muhammad in the book called 'Quran'. The same Allah Jesus heard speaking to him while he wrote down the words of the Bible. After so many years many lies have replaced very important verses in the Bible to keep the world from the truth. To keep the world distant from faith. Many believers of the Bible weren't capable to inspire their offspring due to illogic rewritten ways of the Catholic and Christian traditions. Because that's what it became after 2000 years, a derailed faith far from how it was intended by Allah. That's why Muhammed was needed, that's why Allah needed to bring us the last verses, and tougher pillars. Did you know the initial intention was to pray over a hundred times a day? But Muhammad begged Allah to reduce it to 5 times a day. SubhanAllah.

    • In addition to my earlier response, Jesus appealed to and quoted the Old testament throughout his ministry on earth. Youir god (allah) and prophet (mohhammed) never quoted a single verse in the old or new testament. Yet you claim Mohammed is the last prophet. The old testament prophets prophesied the coming of the messiah (Jesus). If Mohammed is the last prophet, where was his coming prophesied in the Bible? Oh I forgot, Mohammed is actually prophesied in Matt 24. Go read it

    • On top of that why would God send a war lord who killed thousands and took for himself 1/5 of the spoils.who slept with a 9 years old girl after he sexually abused her for 3 years. The same prophet who lusted after his son’s wife and asked him to divorce her so he can marry her.A prophet who ordered his men to split a Jewish woman in half because she insulted him.A prophet who slept with a corpse.Prophet who spread his religion by the sword. How is this killer belong to God’s prophets

    • @@historian9484 I wonder. Muslims claim that the Bible is corrupted, yet they desperately want to associate their false prophet with the Biblical prophets. Why would Allah accept that Jesus is the Messiah and yet claim that Mohammed is the final prophet? Is Allah so ignorant not to know that the Messiah is the Seal of the prophets and that there is none after Jesus?

  • Jordan Peterson only loves the Old Testament because he's a Jew. He loves the cruel god concept because he's a cruel person himself. I've seen dozens of clips of JP talking about Biblical themes and they're only about the OT. The few instances where he talks about the New Testament, he either despises its message (for instance about "the meek shall inherit the Earth") or he waves it off as fake (like the Resurrection, etc.). He has in common with the fascist Nietzsche in this regard. Inb4 I may have missed something. JP content is insufferable. And maybe if he had 1% good content, that doesn't excuse the 99% trash.

  • Peterson should stick to the evolutionary fantasy and religions of lobsters until he actually repents, trusts Christ and studies the text from a believing perspective for a while. It's insulting that they take the Word of the living God and boil it down to a philosophy inside of an evolutionary framework for entertainment purposes. Gross.

    • Isn't it better than the agenda cast onto the people who can't even think and reason through? You never know, maybe those who don't believe will start studying the word of God by this! We never can tell the ways God will use to gather his people.
