My bearded dragon was trying so hard to get her shed off to the point where she went into a frenzy activity because of it. I helped her get most of the shed, and I'm telling you the next day she was chilled out and no more frenzy activity in her behavior. I would rather have a happy bearded dragon that is satisfied with getting the help to take their shed off than the frenzy activity and the stress it was causing them.

When in the wild, they have to maneuver in very dense brush and trees. This helps them to shed. When as a pet, they sometimes need help, and a responsible parent will know when.

if there's any kind of resistance it's too soon and ur hurting him lizards don't exactly speak nor will they tell you that it's hurting them i don't know why all these ppl keep pulling their sheds off like this on video when the last thing ur supposed to do is peel it off like this poor baby
@reneestyles4863 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the opinionated yet educated comment. Yes they dont speak and yes in the wild they get help. But they can burrow/dig run through scrubbrush or try to ise there back legs or rub on stuff. Or in the wild sometimes it wont come out leading to shed impaction, then the impacted shed will cause a pressure and eventually that pressure untreated will fester and have bacteria and the animal will slowly die but there lifespan is cut down drastically. But That's the nature of the beast the strongest survive in the wild. Yet we are not in the wild and I will help. Lmk what you think 🤔 this message was not nasty in context.
