We can blame Klay because its easy but "if not for Draymond being suspended 20 games they wouldn't even be in the play in" That is the truest statement of all !! He needs to stop costing the GSW opportunities.
That's true but even if they had been a higher seed the team as it was constructed was not going anywhere. Especially if Wiggins and Klay don't play at at least 80% of the ceiling. You can't win a title if your second best scorer takes the 4th most shots.
I agree, but it wouldn't have mattered much imo. Even if Draymond didn't get suspended, the Dubs don't have a consistent second scorer they can rely on. Each game we wondered if Wiggins/Klay/Kuminga would show up. We just don't have enough horses to win a chip. The farthest they could have gotten was the second round.

Every dynasty has its course. Any team that has 4 championships in 10 years would cement their legacy in any sport. The Warriors transformed how the NBA has been playing (I’m still not a big fan of too many 3s attempts per game) because of their big 3. Now not only they are aging poorly, their performance hasn’t been close to what they were. Also their new talents are not good enough to keep them in contention. Still they had a good 10 year run.

One of the greatest dynasties ever. In the modern era, this will be never replicated in this level of dominance in a span of a decade. Because theres so much talent and so many good teams, doubt there will be more dynasty.

@@23chngeSix consecutive playoff appearances (3 of those winning the chip), a bit of a break, then two consecutive playoff runs again (with 2022 being a championship year). So they didn’t get there this year. But no matter how you slice it, this is still a dynasty my dude.

I think GSW's problem this season was inconsistent availability of personnel. Draymond's was of his own making, Wiggin's situation was unfortunate. And then while injuries happen, Steph and CP3's had badly timed injuries. But I think they really picked form at the end but run out of games, (in their last two losses, they were outscored by 2pts and 6pts, and these were back to backs) - only 1 team had a better record in their last ten 10 games. Fixes: They need to install discipline. If Kerr cant keep Green on the floor, trade him. There's also a situation with Wiggins that needs to be sorted out in a way that works well for both parties. A good solution could be that Wiggins is traded to a team where he can be closer to home. And I'm not sure CP3 is the answer moving forward. Klay seems like he'll be flexible as to whether he'll start or start from the bench, and I think in a more settled team playing with rhythm, he'll have a much better season. And you can't trade Steph if you're not a complete muppet. I think the biggest factor working against GSW is a stronger Western conference. GSW will have to improve massively to just get top 6. Is it worth that luxury tax and all that money????

The thing about Klay is he'd be an amazing bench player. But as a starter that you're counting on to carry a portion of the team? Bro ain't that anymore. He can be for 1 in like 20 games. But old Klay could go off like Steph at any given time. This Klay can barely do that a few times in an entire season. Nothing to be ashamed of. Bro got injured and is older. Everyone has a decline. He's still an all time great.

The Warriors need 2 players - one 7 footer or so defensive presence/lobby threat, and one scoring threat, that 23-25+ ppg guy to take the pressure off of Curry. With Klay coming from the bench (which he seemed to play a lot better doing so) and a good backup pg, like BP can become for the second unit, they are good. Every time the warriors had a solid tall rebounder and a second scoring threat, they made a deep run in the playoffs
Bring back jp3, get solid big that can stretch the floor, wing defender (or any cheap 2-way wing).
Bring everybody back ***if you can*** and run it back. Took us all year to get the chemistry right. You bring everyone back, you will have a team that would have a year of playing together under their belt. That will only help next year. Bring Klay and CP3 off the bench next year.
Stephen A's stats about Klay was "Last Season". He averages 18ppg on 43% FG and 39% 3-FG this season. Klay has to take less money. 2year 40Mil.

No, you have to running back one last time.. they just won a championship a few seasons ago. Draymond can not get suspended no more games for the rest of his career. Thompson is going to look up the Sixth Man of the Year award for the next couple seasons.. if they need him to start, it's all good. He'll definitely be in a better space mentally next season. They have to run it back one last time. Just one last drama free season.
I would still keep Klay, but will trade assets for a bigs that can defend and shoot outside of the paint. Warrior system had none bigs that shoots. I say keep the big 3, train TJD to shoot and trade for Isiah Stewart or Naz Reid.
Game's too fast for Klay and he can't play D or shoot. Dubs didn't defend pick'n'rolls, baseline drives, transition breaks or 3 pt line with Draymond or someone OUT of position by ball watching or not getting back quick enough.

Wiggins actually needs to be moved. He is too passive and needs a pep talk every game to remind him he was an Allstar so play like it. His motor is too low. Move cp3 too. Let Kuminga get all those Wiggins mins and learn. Also Flip Wiggs for a good player and attach Maybe a pick or Moody or Cp3. As for Klay I would resign him for 2yrs...50mil.
It’s not this warriors front office fault too and they dint break in enough vets who have 7 or 8 years of experience and were younger and now they put burden on curry to carry them not a have center not put truce jaskson Davis in starting lineup not having a good defensive team and having a power forward and the 4 guard lineup in my opinion if I was the gm keep the core keep the core being klay off the bench to get a center like a nic Claxton and a star and two way players to help the core and curry the reason why they won them championship they had defense and two way players and a power forward

Get rid of Wiggins and CP3. Keep Klay at a discount. And bring in a young player who can consistently score and play defense. Period. I think they should try to get Durant back even if that means getting rid of Draymond. Durant isnt winning with the Suns and his yrs are running out. He should go out with his former brothers on top and potentially win one more ring. Durant, Curry, and even an inconsistent Klay stand a better chance of winning than the current setups with gsw and the suns.
