Citric acid can hold charge for some hour. Also it can damage the battery. So, it's not American Tech, this is Donkey Tech.

yenn x lemon juice has an unarguably low pH of 3 and should , therefore, be seen as acidic, not alkaline. Besides that, seems like lime rather then lemon

Using a dry all purpose paint brush is easier to clean up with. And you should warn people that there is hydrochloric acid in batteries and a lime or lemon juice won’t clean the lead plates

PH down works even better being the lowest on the acidic scale 1.0 - 3.0 acidic don't add water or it will cause the ph to fluctuate/head for 7.0 over time, you're lemon water mix will return back to neutral 7.0 on the pH scale in about 4 to 5 days, Shalawam✌......
