  • Here’s the sequel to Vigilante. It’s still very much the same, except the story mode actually has you going through all of the stages this time so I didn’t have to show off the unvisited stages separately. Each character also still has their own unique ending, with the ability to show off the entire ending sequence when the game has been completed with all characters. Video features one story mode (all stages) as well as the full ending of all characters and then the credits sequence. Fun little game

  • Vehicle Combat games need to make a comeback. This , Rogue Trip and Critical Depth are still very fun.

    • @@Jeeky88 of course not, just didn’t want to name them all myself lol . Let’s not forget Twisted Metal which started it.

    • @@emmajade9507V8 series had more to it than Twisted Metal did. While I like Twisted Metal and fully acknowledge it as the OG car combat game, V8 had a more fleshed out story, more interesting characters and an overall more layered setting than TM.

  • Dear God, the nostalgia is hitting me like a damn truck. I loved this game back in the day. I remember me and my friends in school talking about it and I remember renting it from Blockbuster and Hollywood Video. It's a shame this series never got the attention it deserved because it was so damn good and fun. And I know I'm gonna cause a shit storm by saying this: While Twisted Metal is the OG car combat game, Vigilante 8 and V8:2nd Offense was superior to Twisted Metal in many ways: 1:The Characters had more personality to them other than some grimdark story that all of the Twisted Metal characters seemed to share. While I like Grimdark, it did get tiresome because it felt like every Twisted Metal game was the same. 2:The story of Vigilante 8 was more fleshed out than Twisted Metal. Every single story was connected to an overall arching story. Twisted Metal's whole entire thing was:"Kill everyone. Calypso grants you wish that fucks you over. The end." That's with every single character. The only difference is the final scene where they get their wish. V8's characters all have different stories that fit their role in the larger narrative being told. 3:While I love Calypso, he grew stale after a while. The villains of V8 are far more interesting and have more meat to their characters. Hell, Nina Loco actually falls in love with John Torque. All in all, I feel like V8 should have gotten more attention because it was far better than one would think.

  • Blucko:that, of course was the iconic and long-running Kirby franchise, which ran for 47 seasons and broke every record in videogame history, ultimately culminating in a national phenomenon now known as Kirby Wonder. But all of that changed back in may, when the beloved Japanese icon put the CEO of Vanpool in his mouth. Though the CEO who was in Kirby’s mouth for 7 agonizing minutes was unharmed, the studio's closure after the backlash of rtdl deluxe resulted in Kirby being terminated from his own show. While nothing is official yet, rumors suggest the studio is looking to keep the franchise going without kirby’s involvement and are even considering auditions to replace his character.
