  • had a similar experience today. Played what I thought was going to be my last rapid game of the day, noticed I'm 3 points away from reaching 1400 for the first time. The temptation got to me. And that's how I went from 1397 to 1350 in 15+10.

    • I usually stumble into fancy tactics, i find if I focus on achieving something, I get tunnel vision and miss other important aspects of the game. Focus on generally improving your play. Centralizing your pieces, attacking, etc. Through that you'll learn tactics in a hands-on sense.

  • 46:29 i think you hung a queen via x-ray. White goes rD8+, which leaves the black queen undefended since the white queen covers the only square the black king could escape to to avoid check. Could be wrong, but noticed it quickly during the game

    • The difference in time between 1 minute berserk between you and your opponent is 30 seconds. The difference for 2 minute berserk is 1 minute. Some may find that although you have less time, your opponent having less time comparatively makes the game easier.

  • How the fuck does Eric Rosen keep surviving and stalemating with 0.5 seconds left? Many situations where I would have easily flagged him (ok, probs wouldn't get those situations in the first place) but the opponent, high rated bullet players keep taking a whole second per move.
