  • I love how Tim loves to be a father so much. "I love you," without even noticing it's close to the mic, and "we need more children" to his wife at the end; what a great dad! Jack and his sisters ARE the lucky ones to have a stand-up guy like that as a father.

I am and have been a schooled musician/ teacher self employed guitar/ piano/ singer and song writer for most of my life, But WOW! Great song, Great father. Humble family.. hard to come by these days. I have shed so many tears from the probably 50 times I have watched this. I have to drink twice the water on a normal day! And, Yes dad does a great job at directing attention to his son. I literally forced my 10 year old son to watch this video. I told him, I can teach you to sing and play any instrument. I would love for us to have that connection. I told him... with practice you and I can do anything like this.. He blew me off because he was too busy playing fucking Fortnight. Meanwhile, I will try to enjoy him, as he is still a great child. Looks a lot like Jack actually.

Such a beautiful song, sung with such a feeling that everyone watching it can feel the emotion. No words to describe the feeling I have got. The bond within the family is such a great thing to watch. • This song's amazing! I just about managed to hold back my tears! I love how Tim let Jack sing the lead parts in the song and let him be the centre of attention. I remember watching a mother/daughter act where the mum sang pretty much all of the song by herself & left her daughter just stood there not singing anything and looking really sad. I remember they didn't get through and Simon was like "You're OK, but your daughter just looks like she's been dragged along and she doesn't want to be there!"

Lay your head on me As I fall to sleep Put your arms around mine Stay here by my side We're the lucky ones Only just begun Others leave too young We're the lucky ones Til' your eyes can't see I'll be all you need Put your hand in mine Stay here by my side We're the lucky ones Only just begun Others leave too young We're the lucky ones Promise me no matter (I promise) How the years change us (eyes don't see) You're perfectly imperfect Just like you were meant to be And all through our life I'll be... say you'll be mine We're the lucky ones (we're the lucky ones) Only just begun Others leave too young (others leave, oh so young) But we're the lucky ones We are the lucky ones Mhmm...

Hope they gave you good values and a chance in life like mine did. Still, I feel kind of lost, things kinda lose meaning. Crazy how much we live for the others without realizing it and when they are gone, we kinda forget how to live for ourselfs hehe.
