The amount of time I've spent wondering how they film that show is ridiculous.
i spend most of the show wondering how they film very specific scenes
I always knew they were given the programmes and not watch them as they are transmitted. It seems on Wednesdays and Thursdays of the week, the production team send them DVDs of the programmes they need to watch and react to. It takes up a whole day, from 9am to possibly 11pm at night over those two days. Once they have filmed their reactions. Their recordings are then edited by the team, who have to work quick to get the show on air every Friday, with editing taking place right up to an hour before transmission.
A camera would be a huge help to film it ???

So if you apparently have friends who work for the BBC and channel 4, did you then need this video to tell you what goes on. They're actually given only parts of the shows and movies. Not all of it. And there's no way these people can sit down for 14 hours over 2 days to watch every minute of every programme and movie. These people still need to carry on with their lives, working, etc. And editing goes on 1-2 days prior to it going to air. Not up to one hour before. Or else the story of the Queen's passing, for example, would have been included in the exact same week that it went to air. But it didn't.
@@peachyb1969 The Gogglebox families are given dvds of TV shows to watch. Remember most programmes are 45 minutes, one hour and are not exactly long to watch. News stories are simply edited into a "news digest" for them to react too. Also, they are paid for this, this is a job, and Channel 4 expect them to work for their money, so yes, they do spend 2 full days watching TV shows.

Many people react to things they watch just as the Goggleboxers do. They just don't have cameras on them for hours on end to catch all of their reactions. So, these Goggleboxers could very well be reacting as they normally would.

Jack’s face looks like a child was asked to make Boris Johnson’s face using only mashed potato and shortened bits of uncooked spaghetti tbh. His voice sounds as if a much larger man is constantly squeezing his neck a little too hard, but not hard enough to cause any serious damage, unfortunately. When he forces a laugh he looks like a young boy desperate to impress his dad on the one weekend a month he sees him. I’d hoped to have been able to write at least one decent character trait or aesthetic feature I admired in this man, but all I could come up with was the editing skills in this video, mainly because Jack is barely in it. Although I imagine that’s a purposeful move so as not to disgust too many people with his grace, or disgrace, either/or. Roman seems cool though.
