For a company that didn't want to make bed slingers, they sure are whippin' out the bed slingers. Looks nice, hope it works well for a good price. I've heard the AMS lite is a better system over the older AMS.
nice to have a company that reconsiders decisions when it makes sense. im not a big fan of bed slingers but I think the A1 and A1 Mini are a smart move for BL
I have an a1 mini with ams and I love it but I’m thinking about getting this without the and and just switching it over from the mini when I need it. But do I do this or save for an x1c? Such a hard decision
@@Fyrestare My honest opinion... I would hold out for an IDEX Bambu or perhaps a Bambu tool changer. These chinese companies always copy the trends, so I think it's only a matter of time before Bambo makes their own "Prusa XL".

I just realized there is now this A1 which is different from the a1 mini. Very cool. For a moment i thought bambu raised their prices on the a1 mini, but i was looking at the larger A1 price 👍😄

A1 is a good machine for anyone want to start with 3D printing, nice design and I really love it. Have not got the AMS to test yet, but I believe you are making great product!

I started with a P1P and then added an X1C. If I had just the X1C I would definitely get this to accompany it.

So X1 Carbon is not named Carbon because of its filter and we can start printing filaments that need filtration with open chamber printers now?
we printed without enclosured for years before bambus X1 Carbon. Just keep the place ventilated and don't work/sleep next to your printer.

Tech specs says Carbon Fiber Reinforced Filament is NOT RECOMMENDED. But this video shows it printing in CFRF .. So is it actually compatible??

for the video rig, where do we find the handles shown at 1:20? On Makerworld I found the cage, the phone mount, and the filter holder, but no handles..

oh the official bambu website for this printer, they credit the creator of this rig, i just cant find tht model. but there is a picture of the video rig with the creator name on it.

Anybody here receive a Bambu Lab printer as a gift this past holiday season? My wife bought an X1 Carbon for me, but it was several days before I knew there is an associated filament membership... after I'd already made some purchases. This is part of the deal of the printer, part of what we're paying for, and I expect to get that. Was able to finally get them to move the membership over to my account, but now fighting with their support about the price delta on the qualifying filament I'd already purchased. They feel I'm asking for a reimbursement after obtaining the membership, but I counter that it should have been there all along. They point out that I should have known it from their website, but I point out that this was a GIFT and that I only found out by accident, since I wasn't trying to purchase one... I already own one. And that there was nothing obvious within the packaging that indicated the included membership deal. That membership is yours, and you (and I) should get it and the have to honor it. It is their poor organization that keeps some of us from knowing about it and/or getting that membership attached to our own accounts.

These are great... but their support is awful.
I love that these machines are really nice, advanced and overall great printers, but like, as an existing customer I feel pretty irritated that they keep releasing smaller bed slingers over a larger CoreXY like we all want lol. Oh well, too late, already bought a K1 Max so they lost my potentially 3 grand purchase.
They are for sure working on a larger machine but unlike other companies *cough cough Creality*, they aren't interested in rushing out a half finished product and using their customers as beta testers. The K1 and K1 Max had a bunch of issues the first couple of months, and their app is absolutely terrible and full of ads. Creality also doesn't have a good reputation when it comes to supporting older machines.

It's not all bad. I emailed about my camera when it gets hot. Next day they asked for my shipping info. Next day they gave me a tracking number. 3 days, part is on the way no questions asked. Much better than the video I had to take for Prusa. your mileage may vary.
I guess I wish I would have got your rep but once they assign someone good luck on getting anyone else. Asked for a manager, etc. Just got the same lady blowing me off. @@Matt-bb3nr

Don't waste your money on this terrible printer. It is the worst printer I've ever used. It failed to print anything. I follow the support teams Guides and it still doesn't work.

You had a $300 printer and a $500 printer. What is the point of adding a $400 to the line when you don't have a large format machine? And another 256mmx256mmx256mm on top of that... Ugh! Stupid! Give us a 325+mm^3 printer already!

Oh no, the company is releasing new products, what a horrible thing! There's always going to be new products just over the horizon, if that's an issue then 3D printing might not be the thing for you. People have suspected this would come soon since the day the A1 Mini launched.

I tried printing my own vibes and the cable started to spark. Apparently my vibe is “see you in hell”. How could Bambu shit the bed so badly? Now they want everyone to either return their A1 or wait a few months to fix their own machine. For those who want to return their machine, is Bambu going to strip them for parts and reuse the parts in “new” A1 machines?! I have lost all trust in this company
