I assumed the developer was an adult, I did not know they are a teenager making this.; I wish them the best in their game dev career even though I don't like Muzy.
Honestly, it's at least a promising start. It's not the worst for a first try.
I played it, it is fun, but not scary, tbh I'm making my own game, and it has alot of blood, I'm even going to add a pool full of blood in a part of the theme park, but one thing they did wrong is the gun definitely, but NOT ENOUGH BLOOD, Ik textures will make the game lag, but the more blood, the better. And I whished they changed the model of the.. Bear thing because I can even do that, a chase scene in my mascot horror game has a bad model for the monster, and it looks like banban, so I'm going to change it make it scary, so he might be lazy in some cases. I became 12 when this game came out, I got this and Joyville, tbh I like Muzy better since to me it was more fun even though it isn't as scary as joyville, but making a game is hard after 10 hours I got like 1 minute of content.. no 30 seconds, in turn for 10 hours, I'm learning ue5 but he could've done some things better. ** btw, just because I'm a preteen doesn't mean I will let the game be like garten of banban, I will add stuff no other game had * Other than PPC3 kinda & security breach * But will have stealth parts to add more content instead of puzzles, like why boring filler

I really hope you can have good stealth mechanics, every mascot horror game I've seen has fumbled the hell out of 'em. Where Garten of BanBan was laughed at and made fun of, it eventually (debatably), became its own thing. I don’t think Muzy has the chance to blow up, it doesn’t have the quality of Poppy Playtime, it doesn’t have the humor of BanBan, it’s kinda just a thing

as a game developer This game is super good, like I spent like 10 hours working on a game for.... JUST NOT EVEN ONE MINUTE OF CONTENT, and this dev is a teen, and all alone, so the time might make you so tired that you won't want to work on the game anymore, or make you think that the quality is top notch since you spent soo much time on it, like poppy playtime I thought it was just going to flop after a few months, especially since the game is 5 dollars and 30 mins of gameplay, but.. It got very popular, criticism is important, but sometimes it might be too much to handle

Seriously, this really strikes me as one. Especially with the jumpscare from the goofy gingerbread-man-thing that just falls over, like that one's clearly a joke. Also the in-universe buttons for the difficulty and to turn off the annoying clanging feel a lot like a self-aware parody of how these games work. I mean either way it's better than Banban. Also the MULTIPLE GUNS you can find but never use! That HAS to be some kind of joke about useless gimmicks and empty rewards, right? Right??? Okay the claw that lets you fly does it, that's pretty funny.

the way they spelled muzy might be fairly explainable if they aren't a native english speaker, which they might not be, looking at the other games on their profile. so, the sound that makes in our language is typically written as in other langs. it's also transcribed that way in the ipa (not the beer, it's a universal method to transcribe sounds) and this is actually incredibly interesting! let me linguistics nerd a bit here rw so, "double o" was essentially a double o long ago! it was a long vowel, which is exactly what it says on the tin. you say the o, but for longer. but then there was this thing called the great vowel shift. it's not as grandiose as it sounds. it was basically a series of sound changes, which are when sounds change into other sounds under certain conditions. if you're britishh (and i'm guessing so based off your accent), the most noticable sound change in that dialect of english is the way words like water are turned into wa'uh (ttanscribed [waʔə]) (and wadr [waɾɚ] for americans) but back to the point! the great vowel shift was a change where all the long vowels in the language disappeared, either merging with other sounds (like long o), or becoming new diphthongs, which are two vowels pronounced as one unit (long i as /ai/). it's it's now left us with many orthographic (writing) oddities, and our writing is consistent with pretty much no other languages. that's just my hyperautistic ramblings though. back to watching the video.

The only thing I can say I like about this game is the small blue thing with the star on its head. It's cute. Which, I mean, probably isn't the greatest for a horror game tbh. That, and I hope the creator can improve their skills with time, be it by making more Muzy games, or by verring into a different game project entirely. If it's true that the creator is a teen, then I can say that they seem to be pretty good at actually programming a game for their age, even if the game they made isn't that great. As Uh Yeah said, it's better than the first Banban, which was made by two adults.

I made a post on Twitter, telling the creator about how not only the teaser trailer, but one of the main characters in the game looks exactly like Huggy Wuggy and it looked shockingly similar to Poppy playtime. He got so pissed. He changed the design to that weird purple worm thing. Again I follow what you’re saying don’t harass a person, but you gotta know that when your trailer looks like it was ripped directly from another source, is a bit suspicious. I think mob entertainment contacted him and told him to change it. It’s quite rare nowadays to see people actually divert from garten of banban’s ways and change a design kudos to him and I hope it does get better.

I completely forgot about this game, man. Still hope the dev continues making games, I respect them far more than the Euphoric Brothers. (Also I dont normally buy youtuber merch, but the Handi Dans impressed me with its presentation and I sorta caved, looking forward to forgetting I ordered it months from now)
This game is a _masterful_ shitpost. It fails to follow basic game design practices in so many ways I wouldn't ever even consider on my own. A gun that solves one puzzle, then has one main upgrade and 2 hidden upgrades, but is never used again? An in-game difficulty select that has absolutely no reward for harder difficulties whatsoever? The _wild_ choice to have a big enemy jumpscare you, then leave it standing motionless in a corner, completely harmless, while a smaller enemy spawns in behind you and chases you? A physical in-game button to turn off the music in a single room with particularly abrasive music? I can't even tell how much was intentional. The music switch seems like it has to be a joke, the gun feels to absurd to be real, but, like... Is it? I don't know.
Well for a game made by a teen, this isn't really that bad. I've started making my first game and it's going some what well it's still a pain in the ass tho, and I made some pretty stupid mistakes.

I tried to make a few ideas for the drone in Banban for some earlier chapters, like a lamp modifier and a "follow me" feature so you don't have to send, walk, wait, repeat, that could result in a situation where you send the drone through a vent to push a button / grab an item, leaving you in the dark for a moment that can cause some unease in the player if some noises were to play and a cardboard cutout was knocked over upon the drone's return. Another person suggested a "Yoshi Sacrifice" thing where you jump on the drone over a pit. So, let's try to think of some for this game. The regular old foam dart probably can't do much, but in Prey from 2017, there is a nerf gun tool that allows you to press touch screen buttons and cause distractions for enemies due to the squeak the darts make when hitting a surface. You can shoot a dart through a small slot in a window or something and open a door from the other side, or interact with a security terminal to upload a map to your PDA. Another idea could be a sort of quote-en-quote "grenade launcher" like this one NERF gun that shoots tennis balls pretty far and pretty hard, intended to be used when playing with a dog. *That* could break windows or maybe stun certain enemies, or knock over some light objects that the darts couldn't, like the one carnival game where you throw a baseball to knock over metal bottles. The third idea I came up with is a small water tank modifier for your gun, turning it into a super soaker or squirt gun. This would have a shorter range and would require pumping the water pressure up, but it could potentially short circuit certain electronics, or create a wet floor trap that could backfire on the player, as it would make enemies trip / walk more carefully, but it would make the player have ice physics when on a wet floor. If one of the enemies is a catlike creature, the flashlight attachment could be temporarily replaced with a red laser, allowing the player to control where the enemy goes as long as they aren't noticed. Or the distraction / touchscreen abilities of the regular foam dart could be replaced with a standard BB gun, could be more effective than the tennis ball launcher if you get a critical hit on an eye or something.
I should say, this was assuming that you keep a single gun throughout the whole game instead of replacing it with a completely different one with increased stats. The appearance would just be some customization that the player could choose in the pause / main menu after finding the various weapon skins scattered around the game. Bonus replayability / personality for that situation, like the various hats in Little Nightmares 2, or how some players dig around in Portal 2's files to change the portal gun's texture.
Handi Danz is a genius concept tbh, I really like the idea itself.

Vowels aren't created equal. The oo sound in english used to be represented by u in english and still is in most languages. I personally think to get what you read it'd have to be "muzzy" to get that uh sound in there. Unless you think uzi should also be read as "uzzy"
Or if they change the name to moozy you might as well go all the way and write it moozü. Wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong vowel and say "moozwhy"
Honestly, I really enjoyed this video! I do have thoughts on it, a lot lol. Firstly, congratulations on the Handi Danz release! Wave 1's plushes look really nice and really high quality! Also can't go wrong with Owanj! Excited for the Wave 2 release if it happens! Props to both you and Alice! Now for the main topic of the video For a teen's (I assume) first attempt, Muzy is not a terrible game, atleast compared to Banban's first two chapters or.... **Rubberhose Rampage** (Roast the hell out of RR, purple dog, I beg of you). Asking for five dollars is a little much though lmfao. I feel like this would've definitely fared better as a Itch or Gamejolt game. Those jumpscares are rather entertaining and the decor for the first half looks pretty nice. I do hope that the teenager who made this takes the critiques pretty well. Critiques should definitely be taken into account here, especially for a chapter-based game like this claims to be. Great video, Uhyeah! Excited for your future videos!

So at 10:03, you talked a lot about the fact that the name "Muzy" is pronounced "Moozy", and even though it may seem strange to you, here in Brazil it would be how we would say this character's name in reality. A good example of a similar change here in Brazil would be Ryu from Street Fighter, where here in Brazil it is very common for our sound to be "Riû" instead of "Ryu" as in Japanese. I don't know if the game's creator is Brazilian or from a Latin country, but I think that's why it's pronounced "Moozy" instead of "Muzy" as it would be in American.

This game feels more like a dev test to see what they could do, rather than a game actually meant for release.
Muzy is the name of a cartoon used in language classes in high schools where the main character is a fuzzy green character. Since the dev is so young it would make sense for him to use the concept
If this game was made in unreal engine, The gun, was likely something from using unreal engine as first person template gives you a gun that shoots similar projectiles, it’s possible that the dev was testing out how to change around its settings with the different guns, and eventually decided or figured out how to remove it, This is a likely explication, however it is my theory from experience with the engine
This game honestly looks graphically and aesthetically better than BanBan not gonna lie

Same, I actually really like KinitoPet, although being incredibly stereotypical “augh game goes wrong scary gore!!” it actually has good character design. It also has a WHOLE ASS SONG at the end sung by Kinito himself (or whatever that AI voice is called) and it’s unironically a banger and a half. Honestly, when you consider that this game was made by teenager it's not that bad. I mean... it is bad but maybe he will be able to cook up something good in the future.
I'll give the game this much credit. It doesn't have the "turn on x number of generators" puzzle that so many bad games seem to have. That "puzzle" is when you know the developer had zero inspiration and was just completely out of ideas, when they throw their hands up and say "I can't even think of items for fetch quests so I'll just have them turn on some generators to pad the game's runtime by a few minutes!"
Yeah.the first game is better than the first garten of banban and i appreciate the actual effort the dev put in the game.but if i imagined chapter 2,it could be better.
@@AbdulRafay-oe8ks Yeah. It's probably not as bad as it gets credit for, but sadly that's the dark side of following a trend and copying a successful franchise. Sure it gives you a formula that works and guarantees attention, but it also means a ton of negative press and being unfairly compared to the original. Look at Enchanted Portals: if it had come out in a world without Cuphead it would have been seen as a mediocre at worst run and gun, but because it was ripping on Cuphead it gets slammed as the worst game of all time.

I wish this guy has just turned this into a parody of mascot horror. There’s PRIME ground for one of those. Imagine if the jumpscare has Muzy just randomly shoot you with an uzi or cuts you in half with a katana or something.
