I think people are too concerned about the scoring, than what they were clamoring about before the fight. People thought Canelo wouldnt be able to take GGGs power. GGG hit him supposedly all fight with his jab, and Canelo didnt have one drop of blood come out of his nose. People went from hoping Canelo lost by KO, to arguing rounds. That to me shows that Canelo exceeded their expectations.

Canelo definitely showed more than golovkin. Golovkins jabs were not enough. missed one two many hard punches while Canelo did what he wanted till round 6 he began to slow down

Put it this way!! Canelo was the challenger, smaller opponent, went up his weight class, to fight ggg at his nature weight. Ggg didn't have to make any effort just normal training. canelo landed the cleaner shots, but the only reason why it was a draw is because he wasn't putting enough pressure. After I saw the fight for the 2nd time I understand the draw. I wasn't to sure about Canelo skills until this fight!! Great fight, if Canelo put just a little more pressure on the rematch bye bye ggg.

Triple GGG is still a good middle weight Champion....but Canelo's head and foot movement had triple GGG missing all night. Canelo is a complete fighter he has really learned.

Entertaining fight. No one hurt . No knockdowns. Neither one was dominated. In the end I thought GGG won more rounds overall. Canelo didn’t do enough to knock the champion off. That one judge. Geesh!

GGG got 50 more jabs and canelo got 50 more body shots and 4 more power punches landed a draw was fair. Had ggg moved his head or took less damage maybe he'd win but a draw is fair

Very complex fight. Canelo has fast reflexes, and avoided much of Golovkin's power with head turn at moment of impact. GGG went for the head, i believe, because head punches are easier to see for judges. Golovkin must go for the body to knock out Canelo. Both Canelo and GGG are at the top of their game and as a result of this, the fight becomes a chess match. No easy analysis here.

They did right to say it’s a draw but if canelo did wait so long to apply pressure it would have been a completely different fight

Golovkin was a clear winner of the fight. He landed most of the scoring punches. The cheat, Alvarez, was eating leather for most of the fight.

Canelo looked amazing at times but also seemed to gas at times. Nonethless a draw is fair but Canelo landed the better shots.

NOT because he was a better boxer in the ring that night. 118 - 110 is what I and the majority of people saw all 12 rounds. Both GREAT boxers but when that bell rung after the 12th round Canelo should’ve walked out that ring as the clear and undisputed champion. PERIOD.
