    • Mike Williams Literally is commonly used in informal English in non literal ways to show emphasis, or to mark certain elements of a sentence as surprising or significant. No one is interested in your silly pet peeves about how other people speak. Also, you mean “figurative”. A metaphor is a specific kind of figurative speech. “No one thought you were speaking figuratively” is what you aiming for, and ironically ended up creating a very strange sounding mixed metaphor yourself in ‘being metaphorical’. So, egg, meet face.

  • I love how humble and genuine Kate Winslet was when she talked about winning her Oscar. I watched her win that and the two Golden Globes, which I would agree with her was quite fabulous. Very impressive by the way. I’ve been watching award shows for years and I rarely see actors win multiple awards just for acting performances in different categories. Usually, you’ll see directors or producers or writers who multiple awards for different categories. You would mainly see the directors win multiple awards for their contributions in directing, producing, and writing for their films. Now, that’s more common in the film industry. Either way Kate Winslet is BANK!!!

    • Lena Headey was phenomenal in her acting tho, part of the reason why i kinda liked Cersei was how "real" she was, her subtle emotions and facial expressions make it easy to understand the depth of her emotions. But yea Kate could be good in the role as well but tbh i like Lena as her, one of the msotr underrated actress out there, at least to the wider mainstream community.
