Flopsy is a beautiful donkey who endured pain most of us cannot imagine. A maggot wound which appears to have started in his ear travelled to his jaw. Although Flopsy is permanently disfigured by the scarring on his ear, he completely recovered from his travels to the very brink of death. Flopsy snuggles, he promenades, he eats with gusto and, like anyone who has gotten over excruciating pain, the gift of forgetting all about it and returning to a life of casual good health is indescribably sweet.

    • I SO agree. Have posted this same message on some of these scam "animal rescue" sites that people fall for. As I said, this organization does so much with so little. I realize not every rescue will have a happy outcome but they try their hardest to heal these dear creatures. Please donate to Animal Aid Unlimited India.
