LOVE the oak cabinets in the kitchen. I was actually admiring them just before you mentioned the thought of painting them. My vote would be to keep it. It makes the kitchen look really welcoming and cozy. It adds a lot of personality.

Enjoy the journey in life, so pace yourselves. The chores/reno will still be there. But, if it's all-consuming it will affect your mental, physical and emotional health. You've done such a great job and put so much time and effort into your reno. It's all beautiful!

Your new flowers are so sweet in the windowboxes. You can use Barkeeper's Friend cleaner on your plates to remove the silverware marks, it's a mild abrasive. Love your videos, always so beautiful and calming. 🥰
HiI! If you're not switching out the soil every time with your planter boxes, you may want to fertilize once a year or 6mos to make sure there is enough nutrients!
And water them!!! lol

I'm impressed by how you manage to stay clean when repotting plants. There's no way I'd try it wearing white jumper or jeans - I always end up with potting mix everywhere ! 😅

Morning Laura. It’s so important to have time off/ away from renovation I know I’ve been there. As for the mundane maintenance/ cleaning I would do it on the condition I then had the rest of the day/weekend off to look at pretty things, plants or things for the home. It gave me inspiration to carry on. You are doing a fantastic job and as ever I love your floral displays. Have a good weekend xxxx

Re: renovations...Find it very healthy, very wise for both of you to take one weekend on/one weekend off . I bought a lot of white cups ( G.Ramsay for R.Doulton , maze pattern) at Homesense for a few dollars, same vibe as S.Conran ....although the ones you bought were a nice contrast.:)) Beautiful Refresh🌱🌷🐿
Love Sophie Conran! I registered for that pattern and wedge wood Nantucket basket. Totally different but actually go really well together. We use the giant pasta bowls all the time. And her adorable measurement cups!
Love all your crockery and glass wear, how do you clean the glasses, does the raffia come off for washing? You’re right about maintaining the home, when you’re doing diy everything else gets neglected, I end up looking like a bag lady who’s living in a hoarders house. 😂
