Happy holidays, everyone! This will be my last video of 2018. I do have more 2018 adventures to show you, as my videos are behind my real life (Egypt, Vietnam, Bali, and more!). I am very excited to start working on my 3 Years of Travel video to release next in the beginning of January. Thank you all for following my adventures in 2018. So much of what I do would not be possible without you guys! I hope that you all have a great holiday - have some great food, laugh with friends, and keep warm. See you next year!

I have been in China for two years. It is an amazing country. It has soooooo many great cities . I mean Japan has Tokyo, France has Paris , UK has London. But China has Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Qingdao and the list goes on and on which seems to be endless and all the cities are HUGE! Full of energy and actions and beauty! And they have the world's best transportation system, which is so covenient and fast and comfortable and cool. You can move around in this huge country very easily. I spent most of my life in a small country in Europe and China is really an eye opener for me. It is Huge! It is like an entire universe that is orgnised in its own different and amazing way.

I just got back from my trip in Beijing. And it was the best so far. Before going there, I didn't really have much of a good perception due to the mainstream media. The media can be so harsh sometimes =(. One time, I actually dropped my change without realizing it in a busy supermarket, and a kind local tapped on my shoulder to inform me that. Really thankful on my encounters with the lovely locals there. Love to be back there again. ❤😊
welcome visit again
Sounds better than when I went to Beijing 10 years ago. I was bombarded by scammers and pushy salesman. My family goes to China every couple of years and so much has changed over the years. Also due to the cameras are everywhere even in the darkest of allies it has become a lot safer. But local people still tell you not to talk to strangers since if people are too friendly and approach you they are most likely scammers.
CrimsonEclipse i agree that china has scammers but atleast violence like robbing is very uncommon
@@CrimsonEclipse yup though I believe that has changed through the 10 years

I'm excited to see your big China trip in spring of 2019. I never knew much about China until you and Poppy moved there and started making videos about China. I live in the U.S. and I definitely don't hear about China in this way. I was not very interested in China before. I would never have ended up taking a trip there. But now thanks to you guys I would love to go one day. I can't give you any recommendations because I don't know anything about China besides your videos! But I will be watching!

I was in Paris last week, while taking pictures of the Eiffel Tower, some dude was lifting my backpack that I stupidly left on the ground literally three feet from me. Lucky, I saw it and yelled at the guy. China is a lot safer for sure.
Wow, that is scary, I'm glad that you caught him! Someone pickpocketed me in Paris. Thankfully it was nothing valuable.
Yep, happened to us a few times 4 years ago when we visited Paris. We were very careful, but still my wife’s bag got stolen in Day time.
a lot of jihadist in paris since france is becoming Franchistan...the arab land in europe Stupid west europe...welcome their invaders to destroy their land
I was with a group inside a museum in Paris . Everyone was admiring the paintings & from a distance i saw a hand weaving very quickly in/out of people's bags! We'd been warned that there are loads of pickpockets stealing stuff in there!
There are moped thief rob or take bag anywhere. there show on tubes, one guy chase them down. But the dude pulled a knife, lucky a cop was in traffic witness it and jump out stop the moped. Another a local there follow the moped up a parking lot ramp and the met a another moped called the cops and got them

Thank you for the recommendations! Kunming and Yunnan are definitely on the list but I haven't heard as much about Dali. I will look into it!
@@Travellight21 Kunming is the capital of Yunnan province. Dali is another city in Yunnan, quite beautiful.
Travellight Dali and Shuanglang also Lugu Lake aka woman’s kingdom. I’m a local Shamchuner btw (just another way to call it in Cantonese) I just feel like I’ve met you somewhere before haha Thank you for the video.
Travellight I can vouch for Dali, Jordan. A walled city on Erhu lake with The Three Pagodas. Magical! Also, be sure to visit old town Lijiang while in Yunnan, only a 90 minute train ride from Dali!
Travellight Both Dali and Lijiang r accident town style. Each city in China owned different city culture. Leisure Chengdu and stereoscopic Chongqing are brother city as well. Otherwise, Shenzhen doesn’t have any historical buildings. U should have to feel the cities’ culture and try some chinese accident culture, don’t just feel its modernization .

So good to see you back in China! Everyone falls in love with China once they have been there for a while. There is no where else that is similar....
Don’t know if you have already set up your spring plan or not in China. There are just so many beautiful places to visit in China. I have been traveled around in China for 19 years and have been to 25 provinces. Here is the list I recommend you to visit during spring: 1) Wuhan, Biggest city in central China, with long history and full of sites to visit. At this moment, Sakura in Wuhan University are blooming. Also you may wanna try to visit Wuhan by high speed train, Wuhan station is Asian’s largest train station. 2) Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Cities in Yunnan Province. Kunming, known as ‘Spring City’ as well as ‘Flower City’, warm, comfortable, and beautiful in all season, combined with history and snow mountain in Dali and Lijiang, will be a perfect place to visit. 3) Nanjing, Hangzhou, Suzhou. Three modern but also traditional city, representing typical southern Chinese culture. They are not far from each other. You will see some top tier Chinese garden and enjoy the best tea during this time. 4) Xiamen. A famous, beautiful shoreline city, with very different cultures and architecture style. 5) Anhui. Anhui province might not be that famous, but its scenery and culture are outstanding. I recommend Huang Shan, and She Xian. Huang Shan is a beautiful mountain with just godly view. She Xian is a small village, but the beautiful scenery and its building style makes the village peaceful and enjoyable. Places that are god tier, but may not be perfect during spring: 1) Tibet. Pure, natural and simply gorgeous place to go. Everything is untouched, holy. A place where everyone are dreaming for. But, Tibet might be a challenging trip, especially during spring because of low temperature. Need to be well planned. 2) Zhangjiajie. I believe you might heard about this place. Mountains here are like a sword into ground. When you stand at summit, looking upon, you will feel it. 3) Xi’an, my favorite city besides Beijing. Full of history, you can know a lot about China, just from looking at those historical sites. Food in Xi’an is also brilliant. Give it a try. Might be a little bit chilly during Spring. Btw, if you go to Xi’an, you must go visit Hukou waterfall. It is Gorgeous. Haha, there are just so many great places to go in China. Some places, like Harbin, will be perfect during winter time, but since your trip will be in spring, I just didn’t list them. If you need some more advice, I will be glad to help you

Wow good to see you back in China doing videos! Your all-around China trip in Spring 2019 will be much anticipated!
Hi ,Jordan. Welcome back. China is such a big country that better you discover it with more patience. If you want to see the ancient China represented by historical sites, go to the Great Wall (Beijing), Terracotta Warriors (Xi'an), Forbidden City (Beijing), Humble Administrator's Garden (Suzhou), Mawangdui Han Tomb (Changsha), Mogao Grottoes (Dunhuang) , Leshan Giant Buddha (Leshan)... If you want to experience a developed and convenient city life, go to the coastal cities of the east and south, such as Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, etc. Of course, these places are not cultural deserts, but because of the high degree of openness, the integration of various cultures is more significant. If you want to see the beauty of China, go to Guizhou province where there are minorities that still have ancient living habits, and distinctive buildings; go to Sichuan, see wild pandas and panda babies, eat hot pot; go to Tibet where there is clean air, blue sky and beautiful snow-capped mountains-as beautiful as the Alps. As a Chinese, even I can't say that I know this huge country. I have been to many places and realize the best way to know it is to stay for a while. I can't describe the feeling of riding a rented motorcycle in the seaside of Dali… I can't describe the feeling of lying on the chair of the villa in the mountains of Moganshan and listening to the sound of bamboo forest swinging with the wind; I can't describe the feeling of seeing the abyss under your feet and climbing the HuaShan only relying on an iron chain.
Thank you so much for all of your recommendations! I have saved them. So much of this sounds so fascinating, and I love your way of describing things. I can't wait for this trip!

This is a light show produced by the shenzhen government only this year. It takes about 20 minutes and 800 KWH for one show.Three a night.Used to replace fireworks, because fireworks will pollute the air.And shenzhen actually has light shows in three places.
This video shows good aspects of a first tier city. A video could also show cities and aspects of China that would make it seem horribly disorganized and unappealing.
