a trick that i like is to do is to turn the fone towards a light so the brigtness auto turns up so i dont have to open the menu yo yurn the brightness up😂😂😂

Just a suggestion, but can you do a video about safari reader mode for any browser app. I created a shortcut for share sheet that takes the web page and opens the url in safari. The thing is, it doesn’t open safari, it opens the in-app version. It’s pretty useful
If you 3D Touch a filter either in the photo or camera app you can quickly compare it to the original ( I know not terribly useful but still a trick non the less 😅)

It would make a lot of sense if Apple enabled Face ID on the Hidden album to get into it.
And Touch ID too for the people who have iPhones with Touch ID

You can also hide a photo by pasting it into a note, then locking the note and deleting the original photo.
Yep, I figured most know that trick by now though

Or just add the photo to a folder in the Archive/ files app. Most wont look there.

Whenever I plug my phone to my car radio music starts to play automatically or if I am watching a video and it ends it defaults back to playing music again. Is there a way to keep this from happening. Sometimes I just want to charge my phone without it automatically starting to play music? Thx in advance.

Thanks Brandon, I use Notes A Lot so the date created tip is so helpful for me, the changing times by dragging the reminder and finger drag to change the time in Calendar! The multiple finger movements are very useful too! Cheers 👏🐨

I was today years old when I found out. I’m one of those guys that’s been using the iPhone since iPhone 1 and I thought I knew every trick in the book. This is the first time ever I’ve actually learned a new trick. For the life of me I never knew why Siri wouldn’t answer me when I had my phone on my desk. Had no clue she wouldn’t listen when faced down or covered. 🤦♂️

Love your videos! I always learn something new. My fave tips from this video was changing the time of events in calendar by long pressing & dragging to new time slot and also sending the song lyrics.

Tip 6: you could also hold the 123 button and then type whatever variable you want and then let go of the 123 button and it’ll directly put you back to the ABC. This is useful when you want to type more than 1 variable from the123 section.

A little tip to make things faster: when when setting a timer you can use to sleep which when it goes off stopps playing, all you actually have to do is go into control center and timer is either there, or has to be added which is easy enough to do. Just go to settings, control center, and if timer is not added go to insert timer. Hopefully this works.
I use this every night to shut down my phone after a certain timeframe automatically, this way my battery doesn’t drain once I’ve fallen asleep from listening to KZhead videos! It’s a great feature.

Excellent video Brandon. The SMS deletion, Sleep Timer for Music/Podcasts, you could have have added Books too :), Notes creation date. Worst is obviously the 3 finger gesture to close more Apps at a time. I still can't figure out why Apple is not introducing a "Close All" button.
It also bothers me that he said that closing your apps is not necessarily good. YES IT IS, IF YOU QONDER WHY UR BATTERY DIES SO FAST, CLOSE YOUR APPS!! I feel better now

Quick Question: Why is it not good to force close apps? I force close my apps all the time because I hate having applications open😩
from what i've learned, i think it uses up battery because you're causing the phone to restart the entire process of starting the app every single time.
It doesn’t matter. It uses RAM very efficiently. Background app refresh affects battery. The apps opening for the first time rather than switched to, does not affect battery.
Since I began using iPhone, I never done that thing :D When I want to exit an app or switch to another app or rest my phone, I just swipe to the home screen and continue using :D

When do you expect 14.5 to be released to the public? I am very excited about the face ID and unlocking my iPhone using Apple Watch feature that is coming. Hopefully it will work without any trouble. I'm always leaving my phone face-down. I never realized that's why Hey Siri wasn't working! This should make a big difference.
pls don't leave screen face down tho, it can cause scratches
@@eshaanr_24 I have a case on my phone which has a lip around the edges, so the glass screen rarely comes in contact with the surface I place it on. Also, the most common surfaces I'd put my phone face-down on are very soft (my bed and tables with tablecloths).

That hey Siri thing when facedown is so stupid. I always thought it just wasn’t hearing me! Nice video!
To each their own, I like it because then Siri isn’t listening and so it should save battery life. It also makes sense because it’s kinda like you’re signalling by having your phone down that you don’t want to be interrupted by the screen lighting up or Siri miss hearing you and activating.

Hidden album’s idea is so dumb! Like all iPhone users know about that’s so there is really no point of it, the hidden album needs to have a password at least to really hide these photos
