--------------------------
On Saturday 25th August, the guitar legend Slash, frontman Myles Kennedy and their band The Conspirators played a blistering show at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, and Moshcam was there to exclusively film every second of it.
Aided and abetted by frontman Myles Kennedy and their band The Conspirators (guitarist Frank Sidoris, bassist Todd Kerns and drummer Brent Fitz), the iconic axeman delivered a searing set featuring Guns 'N' Roses classics like 'Sweet Child O' Mine', 'Paradise City' and 'Nightrain', Velvet Revolver's choicest cuts 'Slither' and 'Fall To Pieces' and stand-out Slash
moments like 'Halo' and 'You're A Lie' from his new album 'Apocalyptic Love'.

  • Can we all take a moment to appreciate the bass player and the drummer anchoring everything down like a pair of badasses while Slash went god mode on his final solo?

  • How Myles Kennedy, a great guitarist himself, end up being a vocalist of two bands with two great guitarist in Slash and Mark Tremonti is truly amazing.

    @indragunawan1078@indragunawan1078 Жыл бұрын
    • It is really crazy but I guess maybe it helps that he completely understands the role of the lead guitarist and how to support them in their respective bands. I think that it takes a special kind of person to have the humility to let others take the limelight when you know that you have the same skillset. It shows a total lack of ego. Myles is pretty unique, I've never seen anyone with that level of talent who has absolutely no ego.

    • very well said sir, and agreed with Tremonti he's such an amazing talent as well, I mean giving so much life to four chord progression says a lot. four chord progressions are catchy on itself but making unique riffs out of them speaks much of his music

    • The question now is: what could be the cause of the dilatation? Functional constipation is unlikely, given the normal thyroid function tests and serum electrolytes. Organic causes to consider include Hirschsprung disease, idiopathic megacolon, and colonic dysganglionosis. Hirschsprung disease is far commoner than the other etiologies listed above; rectal suction biopsy is a fast and safe bedside screening procedure for this condition and a good next step. Here, this shows an absence of ganglion cells in all specimens, confirming the clinical suspicion.

  • I think a lot of people don't realize, but one reason the solo section sounds so heavy is because there are TWO rhythm guitars (Myles picks up his guitar) playing different chords and groves throughout Slash's solo. If you listen closely you can hear that going on and it adds a whole new level to the song. It actually allows Slash to have so much more room to play and improv over the band.

    • That's exactly what happened to me. I'm still not the biggest fan of his GnR stuff but my god, this shows a genuine talent for blending the classical and the modern, perfectly structuring a song, creating interest, arranging for multiple instruments, using pedal points, inverted pedals and and pedal ostinatos and, of course, mind-blowing colourful solos that mix melody and shredding perfectly. And this is before you factor in the talent of Myles Kennedy. This song is the reason I respect Slash

  • This is what happens when two great musicians come together from a place mutual respect and collaboration instead of ego. Slash's improvisations are phenomenal and full of feeling as well as being lightning fast. What can you you say about Myles Kennedy other than he is the greatest rock singer on the planet today. His vocals are captivating. Nice to see him playing some rhythm guitar here too. That's the only thing missing from SMKC, more Myles Kennedy guitar.

    • The above constellation of findings was suggestive of a distal intestinal obstruction; a subsequent erect abdominal radiograph confirmed this, while also suggesting at fecal impaction. Therefore, he was kept nil-per-oral, an NG tube inserted, and the rectum evacuated manually. With the acute presentation managed, it is now possible to further evaluate the underlying cause of the intestinal obstruction. Follow-up imaging with abdominal computed tomography (CT) rules out masses and pseudo-obstruction and confirms marked dilatation of the descending and sigmoid colon.

    • Hmm, well he is a great soloist as well. In the old-school, effortless, rock n' roll sort of way. Akin to someone like Jimmy Page was. If they were more technical, the free rock 'n' roll feeling would go as well. Slash is a phenomenal improviser. It's a lot harder to master that than modern KZhead-guitarists going through the motions of some note-for-note technique demonstration.

  • I have to admit, I didn’t pay much attention to the genius of Slash until I saw him on a recent tv commercial. I decided to check him out and am amazed at his talent! Whew! Where have you been all my life?!

  • Your comment moved me so much. I had a similar thing with my dad before he passed in 2007. Music always helped him to recognise me again, or not, as the case sometimes would be.... Bless you, and for the record, my dad loved Ray Charles..Stay blessed ❤
