X-Men 97 episode 6 showed us Storm getting her powers back with the help of forge and Professor Charles Xavier about to marry Lilandra who saved him in the X-Men animated series finally. Do both these even lead to Apocalypse returning? Apocalypse could be behind the sentinel attack in episode 5 of X-Men 97 and Mister Sinister could simply be working for Apocalypse at this time.

That sounds horrible! If they conclude the season essentially with "It was all a dream" I might give up on the show. After all that development this would be bad writing. There is ôter ways to bring back characters and this should never be one.

I thought Bastion was the main villain of X-Men 97, but it was Mr. Sinister all along. Apocalypse will return since he escaped from the astral plane by taking Fabian Cortez's body as a host.

Angel was the first x-man the was the the horsemen death , and gambit became it and wolverine was also, I can't remember exactly the timeline of Gambit being death but wolverine was during the storyline "The Twelve" if your a X-Men fan you should check out it , Gambit run as death was a pretty cool character to it was in like the late 90s or 2000s @@keithwolfe-festivalandstreet

Sinister almost always seems to get followed up by Apocalypse, but we've seen the big Apocalypse stories already on the OG series, multiple big stories with him actually. So it's hard to say, but they'd need to come up with something really good.

They showed Nimrod inside the chest of Mastermold. If that's not a reference to Bastion, I'll be shocked. There are so many hints. Mastermold was the first villain they fought in the season. The DoFP poster in Mojo's video game. The literal photo of Bastion in the first half of "Lifedeath"

Apocalypse already returned in season 5 in an episode called - The Fifth Horseman. In that episode, jubilee was gonna be the body for Apocalypse to possess to return from the Astro plane. She escaped and Fabian Cortez ended up being the sacrifice. Then Apocalypse returned, did his sinister laugh and that was the end of the episode.

Apocalypse did return I season 5 Fabian Cortez was trying to get a body for Apocalypse to take over when Fabian failed Apocalypse took his as he was trapped on the alter at the time.

Magneto had a good heart on his tragedy of his family and Magneto would beat him this time around.
I just got myself to watch the episode with Gambit, feels bad I loved the character of Gambit for ages, feels like a gut punch and heart taken out. 😭
A wild twist would be if they did fight against Apocalypse, only to also to fight against his new horseman as well, which are mutants that supposedly died during the Genosha attack. In the comics, Gambit does become the Horseman of Death.

I am hopeful that they will tie Cassandra Nova into the E for Extinction story arc and potentially have the time-traveling aspects set up as to why she is the villain of Deadpool and Wolverine. Something to do with the alternate dimensions and timelines. They could reimagine Cassandra Nova as part of the Onslaught persona and tie into the Age of Apocalypse timeline. I would love it if X-Men 97 helped to set up Deadpool 3.

Xavier becoming a professor for shiar was cool
wrong, the X-men trapped him, shot him into space, Deathbird released him, and the two rescued Magneto's traitor acolyte Fabian Cortez. Later on, he stole Cable's time travel device (who then returned, using stolen government time machine, that looks like a spaceship, to blow Apocalypse's Lazarus chamber in the past, so he'd be dead by now), Apocalypse had his big adventure beyond time, got erased, and then had a weird ceremony to come back to life, by taking over Cortez's body (instead of an escaped Jubilee). So he may have been technically trapped in by temple rubble, but it's like saying your kids "trapped" you in their pillow fort.... He can easily walk out, even without getting bigger.
Xavier was just like so done with this.

The age of Apocalypse storyline is one of the most famous and popular X-Men comic arcs. My theory is that they are setting up the second season to be a full-blown age of apocalypse storyline fully fleshed out from the beginning and if they did this it would be the first time it was ever done fully in any medium and you could get Nate Gray one of the most powerful mutants and we could fully get a Magneto/Rogue relationship marriage and child outside of the main continuity which would be Gambit/Rogue so that way you could have your cake and eat it too with Rogue and we could have both cable and Nate Gray a child of Madeline Pryor and a child of Jean Gray but that's just my theory and also my kind of hope cuz I love the age of Apocalypse storyline.

I don't understand why they released these episodes in this order. Personally, it felt weird that Episode 6 is a continuation of Episode 4, while Episode 5 is getting continued in Episode 7. They should have released this episode as Episode 5 and the previous one as Episode 6, but keep 'Storm finding about the attack' and 'Sinister reveal' scene at the end of previous episode, or the beginning of Episode 7.
So, if Apocalypse returns, that mean Amidate dead, because he certainly was the rendition of death, as one of Apocalypse sportsman

So I've enjoyed the series so far, but....they take the time to focus on a crate labeled '100 cartriges...' and NOBODY involved with the show caught the spelling error?! Not sure I can make it through the rest of the series without being focused on looking for errors
