BSC President Daniel Coleman on closing his school
Birmingham-Southern College announced Tuesday the College Board of Trustees voted unanimously to close BSC at the end of the current semester.

the closure is rather overdue, particularly after a protracted, outrageous attempt to get taxpayer funding. the persons long trying for said public monies, in dire straits, truly don't hold a candle to many campus leaders in BSC's prime--over a generation ago....
Alabama education truly is awful. I ran a public poll on people’s opinions about funding Tuskegee and what will happen to BSC post closure. The majority- most voted, was negative for both. BSC is the new Carraway Hospital
