Cool little video, very tough to catch these airplanes in flight unless you got a wide angle lens. I started my racing career in the mid 80s and I do believe that Spickler was my first quickie then the scat cat, which was a great flying model. Then I got into the dodger. Right about that time, the Nelsons came on the scene and blew every engine away. As a matter fact the first one I put that Nelson on it, folded the wing.! Of course, back in the 72 MHz days we had to worry about crystals and I believe I had four quickies go in because of those. It’s a lot of fun and very, very exciting. There is practically no judgment you racing the clock. You have a lot to learn not only in the flying but also strategy and that is where your helper makes a big deal. DNF’s our bad! Strive four points in every heat, even if it is only one. Have fun and use good reliable equipment Neal Rehm, 😊
