When you factor in the fact that they sold the UFC for 2.2 billion or whatever, would it have been crazy to take someone like Chris Lytle, or Mike Swick just to name 2 guy, and give them a minimum of 5 million dollars, considering how many cards they saved by their mere presence. From someone who was building a real love for MMA in those days, and not being a wrestler, Chris, Mike, Cabbage, and a few others were the ONLY reason I was renting those VHS tapes PERIOD. Dana got what, 330 mil and never threw a punch not to mention he didn't invest cash into the venture? I'm not downplaying Dana's role in making the UFC/MMA what it is today, but in my opinion, they never would have gotten there without the guys I mentioned and a few others. If I were Dana, those dudes would have gotten secret 10 million dollar cheques in the mail so to speak. Anyone who scoffs at my post, you most likely don't have a relevant perception of how much 2.2 billion dollars is.
