Road trip on the gorgeous Southern OREGON Coast! (from Brookings to Bandon)
We're back in the Pacific Northwest and we could not be happier! And for our first adventure, we went on a Southern Oregon Coast road trip from Brookings to Bandon. This region, similar to the rest of the Oregon Coast, is home to a gorgeous, rugged coastline, state parks, beaches, overlooks, hikes, small towns, insane rock formations, and so much more!

I swear, the West Coast States have some of the most naturally beautiful beaches in the World. From the South, California, then Oregon, & to the North, Washington. Love the West Coast States!🥰
From what we’ve seen of the world we totally agree!
You could add to that the British Columbia coast, as well as the Alaskan coast.
@@bradleypierce1561which just proves the point...of the west coast land(ie US - west coast states, Alaska and Canada) its all BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!! so lucky to have grown up here...if it wasnt for the shitty politics EVERYONE would want to live here. I find myself gravitating to scenery like this when looking to visit other states (mountains, lush greanery, different hue painted lakes/oceans like Montana, Maine, mountainuous regions of Colorado...) something about the smell of fresh water mixed with the scent of pine and other trees is the most thought clearing smell to me... along with the sound of rushing water; be it in a boat or just the crashing of waves against rocks or sand - thank God for the beautiful Earth he's gifted us to enjoy. ✨️✨️✨️
Can you stop posting videos so I can stop putting places on my to-visit list? Ugh...the struggle is real. So fun see you all back in your Happy place in the PNW. Super looking forward to more Oregon vids!
Hahaha that’s our goal! Looks like we’re accomplishing it! 💪
Hello you two 👋 I love Oregon! Glad you enjoyed the beaches and the beautiful hiking trails. I loved the drone shots, and the lighthouse was beautiful. That rock shaped like a man laying down was something else. 😯 Thank you so much for sharing a little of your travel adventures with us! Be safe! 😊🤗🏜🏔🌊
I'm from Oregon 😁 and if you haven't yet you should check out some of Oregon hot springs
My home state! The oregon coast is beautiful! You will enjoy!!
🤣🤣 I love this approach 😂💞
I grew up in Gold Beach and graduated in 1991. Secret beach was called by most of us "Moon Beach" because it is crescent shaped. I have even camped on the little spot next to the waterfall going down to it. You got some amazing shots. My parents and brother still live in Gold Beach...Thank you for sharing.
That’s a sweet camping spot! Thanks and thanks for watching!
Thank you for this. The Southern Oregon coast is my home. I grew up in the Gold Beach area going to school at Ophir & in GB. I miss this part of Oregon so much that even seeing your video evokes so much emotion in me. I miss the smell of the loamy damp moss & ferns & the smell of the sun heating the soil. I even miss the cold, incessant winds. I miss seeing the ocean flat like glass & the wildness of a dark ocean storm. All the moods of the coast makes my heart sing.
We’re glad we could experience it and share it! We love all of those smells as well. The PNW is the best ❤️🌲
We took our girls to Whaleshead frequently. We stayed in the cabins at Whaleshead Beach Resort. The road down to the beach is quite bad but once your on the beach it is so wonderful. And the beach changes over the years too-making it a new experience. Next time, check out Indian Sand Dunes, a fun place to play
Wow! The California Coast is beautiful but Oregon Coast even tops that!!
You might be right!
Born and raised in Coos Bay, I enjoyed this video! It's a beautiful coastline, and although I don't miss all the rain, it does make it lush and green. Great memories! 😍
The rain does have its perks! ☺️ Thanks and thanks for watching!
YES!!!!! Me too! Out of any place I've been to, OR feels like home the most.
We love the stretch from Brookings to Bandon. So many great beaches and just beautiful.
There was a Washed Ashore exhibit in Redding,Ca recently and it was one of our favorite exhibits. Very cool.
There sure are!
Oh wow very cool! Those things are so creative and neat!
Okay, you guys have got me wanting to go visit Oregon! The beaches there are so beautiful. Love the awesome drone footage. I've been to the beaches in northern Oregon, like Cannon Beach and loved it there. Would have to say that Oregon is one of the most beautiful states.
That’s our goal! 😄 Cannon Beach is so iconic! Oregon is very diverse and beautiful! Thanks and thanks for watching!
Go visit in late summer or early fall! It will rival Hawaii. ❤️
@@57Runnergirl Why late summer is perfect time? Please can you explain?!
@@fardinrahmanshamil9267 because the weather is the nicest on the coast that time of year.
As a Bandon native I was so happy you included our little town in your video. As you came down onto the beach from those many stairs, the rock formation that kept popping up in the background with the two holes that water floods through, is called Elephant rock. The two holes are the eyes and off to each side you see the ears. Come back again during better weather....there's much more to see!!
That’s neat! Next time we’ll take a better look so we can see the elephant! And yes we’d love to come back in the summer!
I live in bandon too ✌
My first time in the States, we went on a road trip from Seattle to L.A. and back. The stretch along the Oregon coast was by far my favorite. And Bandon is just an amazing gem!
That’s so neat that the whole Oregon coast is open to the public! What a beautiful part of the country! Also, I like Kathryn’s jokes.😄
We thought that was very cool and special also! Kathryn says thank you! ☺️
I'm proud to call Bandon my home. After living in the deserts of New Mexico and Arizona for most of my life, Bandon is the complete opposite. Love it here. Come back and play at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort next time, my work.
They are definitely different! I am DYING to play at Bandon! It’s the top of my bucket list for the US! Maybe one day I’ll afford it! 😂
Not 1 in 10 visitors to the Oregon coast see the gorgeous southern 1/3rd. Good job!
I have grown up 2 hours north of San Francisco, and is where I currently live again. The whole coastline from here up through Oregon is STUNNING!! I love the area you're in on this video....I love the raw, rugged ocean and beautiful green trees. It's such a strong beauty. I love the damp, cool weather...rain is my favorite. I just love this area so so so much!!
We love it all too! The coast is amazing! Thanks and thanks for watching!
I so agree with you Denise. I'm a big fan of the climate and the rain, the damp sporadic weather, the moss, ferns, lichen, Fungi all mixed into the dense trees and creeks and then the rugged coast is awesome. It's so much more facinating than only having a sand beach like any other beach.. what's the fun in every beach if they were all the same? So I'm so greatful for Oregon's diversity of it's ecosystem's, geological region types, climate type's, and so on. You can find a bit of everything somewhere here in Oregon somewhere... As long as your willing to go on a trip and explore. (I've lived in Oregon my entire life, and I've never been to California yet.. it's actually insane because I've been to many other places.. so anyways, I bet it's got a nice little touch of the Oregon coast vibes near north of San Francisco.. there is some really equal type inland coastal temperate rainforests along the coast region zone of the land in both north California and Oregon. It's so biodiverse and rich in complexity.)
Oregon coast is so Beautiful ❤️
💙❤️
Omg those shots are really gorgeous 😍 It’s giving me MAJOR twighlight vibes!!!
We can see that too!
Ahhh, the Pacific Northwest, my home for all of my life and can’t think of anyplace better to live ! Welcome to Oregon ! Just love all of your adventures and so excited to see you feature some of my favorite places. Your enthusiasm and ability to capture beauty at every bend is just wonderful. Excited to watch as you keep adventuring !
We loved living there too! Thank you so much for your kind comments, Mary! And thanks for watching!
The Oregon coast is one of my favorite places to photograph in the US.
Yes we love it too! It’s hard to beat!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful video! Love the Oregon Coast, especially Bandon! You guys are the best! Safe travels on this epic journey. 🚐🌄🌊🌞👩👦🐶
Thank you so much! Thanks for watching!
This video showed up in my daily YT feed. I had not seen this channel before today. I liked the content, quality, production and presentation so much that I subscribed. Cheers.
I love Oregon too! The coast looks amazing! And glad Kona was able to go on most of those trails!! 🐶❤️
Kona had a super fun time! 😄🐶 the coast is gorgeous! Thanks for watching!
The worst experience is driving down old town bandon on the way home from work on a crowded tourist weekend and just mentioning it terrifies those who live there but seeing people enjoying themselves is worth it.
Thank you for taking away from a very stressful day of home renovations! Wow! The drone shots were amazing, the Oregon coast has so many unique qualities! Stunning! Muddy paws & feet! 😆! Outstanding video guys the fried fish looked delicious too! Always love the bloops! ~Cara 😊
We’re glad we could take away some stress! I love from the drone and was very happy with those shots! Thank you!
I live less then 20miles inland from Bandon, Oregon! I have lived in Southern Oregon most of life, it is so beautiful!
It is super beautiful!
Yeah!!!! Oregon! So glad you’re in my state! Have a great time!
We sure did! Thanks!
My Mom lived in Oregon in 1973 and I visited her from Texas in 74. She took us by Camelback mountain? That led to Haystack Rock overlook. Beautiful! Then the rest of the day was spent at Seaside. A carnival ride cold cold rainy day in June. I was only 14 but my memories riding a bus from Texas to Oregon with my 17 yr old sister was Unforgettable! Ever since I always say Oregon was the greenest cleanest state I have ever gone through. Wish I could get back and spread her ashes like she had wished.
Wow that’s a trip! It sounds like a fun time and great memories! We hope you can get back there one day!
Absolutely gorgeous views.
What a beautiful coastline. I’ve been to Portland but never up the coast. Such unique scenery. Bucket list! 🤗
It is definitely a bucket list spot!
Oregon is for me Coco !!!
Another great episode. Thanks
Thank you and thanks for watching!

I don't think I ever realized how beautiful the Oregon Coast was! Capo Blank State Park and the view with the Lighthouse was spectacular.

Outstanding coverage of the coastline. As always AWESOME! Thanks for taking us on these trips.
Thanks for following along!
Love the Oregon coast! Great video!
Stunning!
Adam is *killing* it with the drone shots! I am so thrilled to see you guys doing this! It's one of my favorite spots. You know that sketchy hike you mentioned at Natural Bridges? We did it! There is a video on my channel showing it. It wasn't as bad as I expected, thank God! And Bandon Beach is a slice of Heaven. Loved that place! We went to Secret Beach too! Damn, that hike was steep, but super beautiful spot! I want to go back!
I looooove flying the drone! Ya we weren’t brave enough to do the Natural Bridges hike haha and yes Bandon is amazing! Thanks, David!
My home is the Mid-Willamette Valley, I go from Florence up to Astoria when I travel the coast. After watching this I will definitely be heading south on my next trip to the coast!
Heck yeah! It's worth the trip! Thanks for watching!
Just amazing! Those rock formations in the water are awesome!
Yes they are! Thanks for watching!
My wife Suzie & I have watched this video and your recent CA coast videos several times and have taken notes therefrom. We live in LA, CA. Last March we drove up the coast to Cannon Beach and then to Portland heading back home on I-5. That was our first road trip with our truck & camper and made the mistake of only spending two weeks to do it all. We fell in love with the OR coast. On Sept 15 we will follow that path again but will take 45 nights to do it better. The notes from your CA & OR videos are part of our itinerary including places to eat; fish tacos, fish & chips & coffee stops too. My Thanks for your tips, advice, love for nature, having fun together and team work in planning, filming & editing it all to share with us.
Oh nice! That's the way to do it. Take it nice and slow. We wish we could've taken more time there. Oregon is one of our favorite places! We also have guides and itineraries to many of the places we've been to on our website. They might be of use as well Thanks and thanks for watching!
Loved this section of your journey! Excited to see more. Been watching since Tucson
Thanks for following along, John!
Great video! Love the Oregon coast!!
Same! Thank you!
OMG! Beautifull landscape! The storm add dramatic touch!!! Just WoW! ❤❤❤

I have been through the Oregon coast many times. I too Love this state. Another great Vid.
It’s a place that requires many many trips because it never gets old!
Wow this brought back memories of our PNW trip last year! As always, incredible videos and love watching yall’s journey!
The PNW is amazing and our favorite place! Thanks, Ashley! PS you get some AMAZING wildlife shots!
I agree with Nate Bruner! You’re making my bucket list longer and longer! That scenery was amazing!
Ours never gets any shorter either! Even though we go to all these amazing places we keep learning about new ones and never make any ground! Thanks for watching!
Beautiful aerial shots. Fun video. 🥰🐕🇺🇸
Thanks!
Thank you so much for this great video...our family is heading there next month from Florida. I can not wait!!
You’re going to love it! Hopefully we gave you some ideas of spots to check it!
this area of the country is on my bucket list to visit. Great video ;)
It’s definitely a bucket list place! Plus most everything we did in this video was free and easy to get to once you’re there! Thank you and thanks for watching!
I just road tripped the Oregon Coast last week and it was incredible! Enjoying watching your trip there 😄
Nice! Thanks for watching, Nicole!
Have been all up and down the entire Oregon coast several times including all the places you showed. Beautiful coast for sure. You probably know but most don't from what I can tell. With exception of a couple of very short exceptions, the entire coast of Oregon is Dog friendly off leash. Like a 300-mile dog park. Also, to make the entire beach along the coast open to everyone, the State made a deal with property owners, if they allow open access, the state will waive property taxes. Have never read anyone not taking that deal, Dah!! My dog has run free and crazy on miles of the beaches. So fun!!
That’s why they call it the People’s Coast! It’s awesome!
“The Cold & Windy” dance- lol 😂 This video had stunning- stunning- beauty. Thank you!
Thanks, Norma!
Another amazing adventure. I love Oregon. Lived there . Oh and that seal is so cool like just chilling on the rock and maybe some tanning 👍 Stay safe ✌
It would’ve had a hard time tanning that day 😂 not much sun, but he definitely looked like he was chillin! Thanks!
Yay A+K (+K for Kona 😉)! Beautiful video. I always love your drone shots. Thanks for the adventure!
👫🐶😃 thank you!
You guys are amazing. I love watching your videos!
Thanks, Dean!
Most stunning & breathtaking coast!! Just moved here and I'm over the moon!
You have a ton to explore!
You're terrific! You both come across as genuine. So many of these travel videos are too much about the creators rather than the scenery. You two have just the right amount of each perspective to make the journey interesting and personal. Good work!
Thank you so much! That means a lot to us! 💗
So happy you made it back to Oregon! We so love all your adventures! Safe travels from Laurie and Rick Moore
We are happy we’re back too! Thanks, Laurie and Rick!
I watch a lot of different video, but this one brings me home, living in Brookings, I know these places, if I look back I've mentioned some of the places! Been all over with u guys! Great travels!
Thanks for the video. I am taking notes because we are going on a trip up the Oregon Coast to Olympia Washington in June.
Awesome! We’re glad we could help! Thanks!
I love Bandon so much 💓 We got really lucky in 2019 and watched them do the labyrinth on Face Rock Beach! That entire sterch of coast is magical and incredibly beautiful. Look forward to your next video!
Oh wow! We wish we could’ve been there at the right time of year to see the labyrinth. That would be a sight to see on top of all the natural beauty!
You guys are so fun. 'Beautiful cinematography and editing - and add a cute doggie to make us dog-lovers smile.
😄 thanks, Ken! And thanks for watching!
Can’t say enough how much my Partner and I enjoy your videos! We just got back from Utah on Sunday and used your Utah series as a guide! WE HAD A BLAST! We did’t have time to do the “Mighty Five” But we did get to Zion, Bryce and after your video We pushed on to Capital Reef and we are so happy we did! The Pie was amazing!! Anyway Welcome back to the PNW from a fellow PNW and Can’t wait to see all your upcoming content! You guys are awesome!
We’re so glad we could help! That is our number one goal and it makes us feel really good to know we helped and provided value! That pie is unbelievable isn’t it?! Thank you for the welcome…we are so happy to be back! ☺️😄 Thank you and thanks for watching!
spectacular. well done.
❤️❤️
I lived in Florence for 8 blissful years. Miss it, miss it, miss it! Thanks for showing the coastal route so beautifully. Drive safe!
We always miss the coast too! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you and thanks for watching!
Great video - Great photography! Beautiful! (watching from Pismo Beach, CA)
We love Pismo Beach! Thank you and thanks for watching!
The sea cave and sisters rocks were my favorite. This is such a beautiful area , it is hard to pick a favorite 🤔 ❤
It really is! They were our favs also
Love your vids so much! This one is inspiring our next road trip on our way from SF to Portland… with the pup! 🐶
That'll be an epic trip!
I haven’t been able to hike in a long time due to illness. Watching your videos brings me happiness. I love seeing all the beautiful places you go and sights you see. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures 💜
We’re so glad we could bring you along! We hope you can hike again soon! Thanks and thanks for watching!
I was so happy to see you were traveling again through my favorite area, the Oregon Coast! Your footage is always so spectacular...esp the drone shots. I would be terrified to try to walk along the Natural Bridges path!! So glad you guys didn't do it! I am looking forward to following along as you continue to Alaska!!🙂
We love the Oregon coast! Thank you for your kind comment! We thought the path was very sketchy so we stayed safe on the overlook! Thanks for following along!
@@AdventuresofAplusK I might not do it on a rainy day, but I grew up in Gold Beach and have not only crossed Natural Bridges but also climbed down the ocean side of the wall to the water's edge. It's not bad when you do that kind of thing regularly. Thank you for your amazing video!
Love your videos!!!
We visited Oregon for the first time for a van gathering last August. Absolutely beautiful. ❤️🚐
It really is!
That is some beautiful coastland. I bet Kona is loving it.
It sure is and she sure was!
Thank you for showing one of my favorite spots in Oregon: I'm an Oregonian by the way and one my favorite places is Oregon Coast.I will soon be moving into Northern California, not by choice but by life's circumstances.I look forward to see what beauties Northern California has.
The Oregon coast is amazing! We’re glad we could share it! Northern California is spectacular also!
The footage you capture is absolutely breathtaking. I’m from Portland, and I’m visiting Oregon in 2 weeks, can’t wait to hit the coast! ❤❤❤🎉
Thank you! We hope you have a great trip!
I can see why the PNW is your favorite. Good to see Kona enjoying it also. The coast definitely gets rain but the greenery is beautiful. Summer will get here soon, I hope. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️
All 3 of us love the PNW! There’s lots of rain, but we don’t let it stop us and it adds it’s own kind of beauty! Thanks for watching!
Ok guys this is one of my favorites keep them coming 🥰
We got you, Cesar! 👍😄
Wow, such spectacular scenery. Wish I was there tagging along.
You definitely gotta get out there and check it out if you can!
@Adventures of A+K Next Year!
Just spent the afternoon and evening binging on your Alaska videos! Been there twice, and it's my favorite place on Earth. There's a little roadside cafe along the river on Turn again arm that has the best blueberry pie on earth. Keep enjoying life, and making memories, and give Kona a treat and ear scratch for me!
Thanks and thanks for watching!
