The media wants Love for MVP over Goff. Goff could have better numbers across the board, better team success and Love will still get the vote over Goff. MVP is much more about who the media is pushing over who deserves it.

Man, this debate is silly. Jared Goff has played in 117 games, whereas Jordan love has only played in 27 games. Jared Goff is by far more proven and better quarterback so until Jordan love has some type of record... meaning 3 or 4 years of experience at a high level we can talk about it . Jared Goff all the way .
People say players are elite as rookies in game one if they play well so it doesn't surprise me

Goff was short on TDs because of our run game. Don't do that. You know we ran for tds as often as possible. The fact that Love had more tds because he had to throw them doesn't make him better. You got that backwards. Love would have less tds with us because of the run game.
Many, if not most fans of our division rivals alreeady believe that their teams are superior to the Lions, this despite two having new QBs and one other who has a 1-1 record from last season. If the Lions had a new or still relatively inexperienced QB, I wouldn't be making unproven assertions, but that is what we deal with as Lions fans.
I can’t say a QB is better than mine based of “talent” when my QB is a proven winner he’s taken trash franchises deep in the playoffs multiple times and even has been to a SB …. Love can play his whole career and probably will never sniff a SB … Goff almost went to his second SB last year…. Stop the disrespect because when Goff wins a SB for the lions the conversation will be way different.

I like how you will praise the lions running backs for how good they are and the line is but then hold that against Goff. How many times did green bay run on third an medium or fourth down. Loves passing stats will always be better because they rely more on the pass.

Love did it by beating every team he lost to the second time when he had a chance with rookies and undrafted free agents. and the youngest team in NFL history to make the playoffs. He has a complete command of everything right now and a weapon only Mahomes can match with the ability to drift back and back foot throw like he does. Goff needs everything perfect with protection or he falls apart.

JLove has more talent than Goff, but at this moment in time I wouldn't say he's a better QB. I feel the same about Hooker vs Goff. Goff just has so much more experienced and is a very cerebral. If Love continues to progress & balls out again this year I think it would be fair to say he's surpassed Goff in the North. FTP tho! One Pride!!!
Not sure what the debate is all about. Let's look at the facts. Goff was a #1 overall pick. Love was never thought of as a 1st round pick. Goff started from day 1 and Love sat for 3+ years. Rodgers was late 30s when Love was drafted coming off arguably his worst year that season and they still not only held onto Rodgers, but started him over Love. If Love is so talented, packers would have traded Rodgers and his contract as soon as they drafted Love for a haul to improve the team for Love. But instead they ignored the offense and leaned on Rodgers. Love should look good in the packers offense. He had 4 years running the same playbook.

Stafford had Calvin, Suh, and most of the offensive line minus Sewell so you can't say Stafford had nobody.
