  • My sweet sweeeeeet STEPMOM passed away from Cancer, bacterial meningitis, lungs infection, kidney failure, fits, strokes internal bleeding and finally heart failure. She was only 48 year old ,but I know she’s in Heaven!!! She wasn’t just my mom, but my best friend. Please pray for her.

    • Your gratitude for learning how to navigate encounters with individuals lacking integrity, morals, and ethics is palpable. It's essential to equip ourselves with strategies for handling such situations effectively. I'm intrigued to know, what specific insights or lessons have you found most valuable in safeguarding yourself against those who may not share the same values?

  • 1. Use someone’s name - in a genuine manner 2. Smile sincerely - genuinely with crows feet lol 3. Moderately mirror speech patterns and gestures 4. Ask for a SMALL favour 5. Reciprocity - when will be seen as most valuable for the other 6. Encouraging authentic scarcity or at risk of becoming inaccessible(limited). 7. Validating others emotions - creates a safe space (practice listening and acknowledging the emotion they’re expressing) 8. Curiosity- provoke questioning. Leave room for mystery and questioning 9. Hallow Effect - when single attributes cause someone to unknowingly associate other positive attributes with you . First impressions matter! 10. Active listening to comprehend the speakers full message , recognize the emotion 11. Contrast - example: offering a higher price before the price or starting with a complex topic before an easier one 12. Touch - asses the situation, context, place you’re in lol 13. Consistency - get it in writing and they’ll most likely stick to it lol 14. Social proof 15. Emotional contrast- problem / solution 16. 17. Uniqueness- make them feel valued 18. Anticipation - create suspense 19. 20.

  • Thank you, I agree that practicing these basic, simple but powerful acts certainly impacts the life the giver and and the receiver. And the impact is both negative and positive. That is why, as you continue to emphasize, the intention must be for the good. Thank you again. "The principle of sowing and reaping," that the Bible teaches is definitely the foundation to these great lessons.

  • As a psychologist, these powerful principles are not "tricks." Using the word "trick" diminishes the message. A trick is "a cunning or skillful act or scheme intended to deceive or outwit someone." A trick is a gullible person who is easily tricked out of their money. Prostitute clients are also called tricks. You harm your own message and, unfortunately, have other people mirroring your word.

    • It's weird. "That's the trick !"- saying, can mean positive at the right times. But repeated so heavily in every teaching & closed saying " It must be genuine" can be confusing or sarcastic. We could say " The trick is Be genuine" Which makes good comedy. Yet, at this age of ●So sad narcissists' pandemic●, it sounds a long crib to encourage to do halm to vulnerable souls.

  • Stoic philosophy teaches us that 'We have power over our mind-not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.' (Marcus Aurelius) This video wonderfully explores how mastering persuasion is less about controlling others and more about understanding our own minds and reactions. How do you think Stoicism can further enhance our skills in persuasion, especially when it comes to psychological strategies? I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts and experiences!
