    • Wendigo this isn’t “healthier” in the sense that it is more nutrients. It’s like giving your cattle celery. It’s 90% water with very little nutrient matter. It’s better to just give the cows the actual barley gain then the sprouts

  • We did a video on a product similar to this in Canterbury New Zealand using barley as the sprouting grain. The farmer we talked to said that the beef animals did take a few days to get used to it but really loved it after a few days. The system is easy to use, requires little manual input and one of the biggest advantages (not mentioned) is water saving, imagine how much water would go into irrigation of 1000kg plus of grass per day. We shot some great footage of the animals running for there feed and devouring this like there was no tomorrow. Great system and so glad to see businesses like this exporting these products to the world. Keep on innovating!

    • @@FodderGroup I've seen videos of cows eating regular feed and they look like they don't really like it but they're just eating it because that's all they have. If I had a cow I would want it to enjoy what it's eating it's not fair that I only enjoy the food I eat. Like with my cats, I make sure that they enjoy the food that I give them.

    • @@lunarcorpse you could not be more correct. Cattle are designed to eat grass and by feeding grain and dried grass etc, it take effort to digest. This is why the cows and other animals literally come running for fresh fodder - they know what is best for them.
