A correction: Kulusevski's natural position is CAM. He has adapted to Right Wing Forward, Right Wing, and Right Wing Back (For Conte) but has himself been quoted to say that CAM is his natural position and where he feels most comfortable.
You're being really harsh towards Ange man. To be able to get a draw away against City, without any of your centerbacks (Romero and Van de ven) or your main playmaker and DM (Maddison and Sarr) and main main subs (Solomon, Dier, Bentancur, Perisic) is insane. Especially considering City had all of their players available except for De Bruyne. Ange deserved an 8 or 9 out of 10 for that performance.
If spurs were to have their first team squad like city did, spurs could have won the match and it will be a different scenario… a draw with a team that has Emerson royal as a centre back and you are happy about it ? Come on we know what spurs is capable of
I 100% agree. A rating of the manager should reflect how they are able to adapt and manage the game with the tools available. Man city should have won with the players they had available, while Ange has enough players out to almost start a starting 11 better than the players he has a available. The fact that Ange was able to adapt the squad especially in the second half to counter man cities style is extremely impressive given that he had such a lack of depth. What tactical decisions did pep make that make him deserve a higher rating over Ange's? Ange adapted with the change to a double pivot. how many managers do you know that can have a possession advantage o ver city? there was a 20 minute period in the second half where Tottenham had 75% of the possession.
The Cojones to got the ethad and play a high line like that takes some real guts .Man City should have finished their chances they real miss KDB

I love how spurs are playing under Ange. It has to be the most entertaining of all teams in the PRL. Wish more teams dared to play like that.
Two of the turnovers by Spurs were from Bissouma and not Emerson Royal. though Royal looked out of sorts in the build up and always looked nervy every time the received the ball

@@stellarsjay1773 For all his deficiencies (and there are enough that he looks awfully out of place in a top half team), Emerson can at least get his foot in and he can chase his man down. Dier has the turning circle of an aircraft carrier, the mobility of one too, and appears to have developed an allergy to trying to take the ball off the opposition - not at all suited to this system.
Great video again. I would like to see if you could also rate some of the players, as some players like Haaland and Bissouma really dragged their teams down, I don' t think you can blame City that much on the tactical side as they played better and missed a couple big chances vs. Spurs scoring off of half chances.

Bissouma can be forgiven. Since City knew he was spurs pivot they pressed him harder.

Without Gundoan, Debryune and Stones, looks like city fears pressing. Spurs had opportunities to attack city’s final 1/4 continuously.
That's like the backbone of the team. Their roles are too specific to be replaced. As good as Akanji and Alvarez are, they just aren't made to play in those positions. Akanji especially looks so lost playing in the midfield.
City were pressing fairly well. Stones doesn't start over Rodri and City still pressed when Gundogan wasn't available. KDB as one of the GOAT's is the only player City are really missing. In full context, I didn't see Spurs making the same excuses for pressing as they were missing all their center backs (VDV, Romero, even their U21 backup Phillips!), all their starting midfielders (Bentancur, Sarr, Maddison), four of their wingers (Solomon, Perisic, Sessegnon, surgery-returning time-limited Richarlison). With Udogie and Bissouma holding back after their recent suspensions, only the goalkeeper (Vicario), right-back (Porro), striker (Son) and one midfield/winger (Kulusevski) have been fully available starters.

City's defending is extremely poor this season and waste a lot of chances Infront of goals 😐
There's a lot more attacking teams this season in the EPL. Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs, Newcastle, Brighton, Chelsea (under Poch), Aston Villa, West Ham and to some extent Wolves as well. This brings a lot more risk to the defenders when you play a higher line and press hard. Spurs under Ange Postecoglou are a different beast though. They're the most attacking team in the league and have never failed to score a goal against any team this season and that includes both Arsenal and Man City away from home, in spite of missing 9 of their key players.
