It was the year 2016, and a woman named Leena Sharma lived in the city of Delhi, India, with her home situated in the posh area of Vasant Kunj. Delhi holds significant historical importance as a vital commercial, transport, and cultural hub, as well as the political center of India. In Delhi, there is an international school named 'American Embassy' where Leena Sharma worked as an assistant manager. However, after some time, she quit this job and started working in a private company in a good position. Leena's parents were no longer in this world, and besides her, she had only one sister named Heena Sharma, who was already married, and her husband worked in the city of Bangalore.
Although Leena was working a private job in the city of Delhi, her father also owned 70 acres of land. Out of this land, 35 acres belonged to Leena's sister, Heena, and the remaining 35 acres came under Leena's share. In reality, this land of Leena was in the village of Sohagpur in Narmadapur, a small town in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Leena spent her childhood in this village and completed her schooling here. I'm more concerned that the perpetrators were granted bail and got only life sentences. Who cares about the farmland since that's what got Leena killed.
As the land belonged to Leena's family I think it was right to give it to her sister .what got me so so angry was that even after the uncle admitted to murdering her his family was STILL growing vegetables on her land like WHAT THE HELL WHERE THEY THINKING 😡😡😡 .......R.I.P. I'm from India, here we treat mother's brother as a very close relative like mother. But money can do anything irrespective of relationships. It would have been better if she had married sooner. David, come to your question, If her sister was good, she would have married her or told her to separate for 35 years as her sister did. So the property should go to some arphanage. David the way you narrate all stories are very nice.
She made a mistake trusting her greedy demented uncle and he had no respect for the memories of his sister. Why didnt he just buy the land off her. He had a sense of entitlement, the son of Bit#h. Why do women in India need to get married if she wishes to follow a career and be independent . It is not as if there plethora of men waiting at the door of any calibre left after hearing horrific stories of abuse towards females. A country that worships female deities and yet abuses women. This is one of the issues that will hold India back from economic prosperity. Indians should stop watching bollywood garbage and start getting a life.

Heena is the rightful owner of her sister's property and not her friend's or whoever has assisted in solving this case. Am sure her good friend's did not assist the police to gain anything in return. This is heartbreaking. Very very sad. And to ur question, d property shoukd go to her sister, unless the sister was no good or aided in her murder or participated in all that led to leena's demise. If even if not her sister i'm sure leena has other family members who truly loved her. If there is none, then one can consider friends and in many cases orphanage. But in all these we have not mentioned ""will"""
Set up a foundation under Leena' name to be managed by Leena' close friends Divide the land, rent out the land to small farmers to make a living out of it. With the rental collected help the poor in education by building schools and small factories to offer jobs for the poor. Employ experts to help the foundation to grow in size and wealth to benefit more and let Leena name and memories lives on.

Direct family will always have priority when it comes to property rights, as she didn't have a spouse and child the next closest member would be her only sister,
At a glance, the sisters doesn't seem to be very close. Why not entrust the sister to look after the land and the fencing rather than depend on the uncle. The married sister should have offered to help and none of this might have happened in the first place. Legally, it should go to her next of kin- the sister.
