    • As always your long content and documentary’s are on my watch list. A “behind the scenes” eye opener. Thx! Is clear why it’s team effort on photo side as well. Just managing >5 remote cameras and shooting 2-3 of your own is…. I got a headache….

  • Hats off to Jared, for knowing theres a difference between what he is doing as a youtuber and "working photographers" and respecting there line of work as well. Round of applause to him for not being ego centric. Also make sure you hit the like button so the level of effort that goes into these videos is appreciated. If we as viewers want more content like this then we need to show our support

  • I don't normally thumbs up videos, but I did for this one. This is the content I love to see. Just pure photography, Jared telling us and teaching us. I know you've discussed video lengths in your podcast, but I personally love seeing the longer length videos like this one. The recent videos in the last few months of you shooting baseball and seeing the work you produce has been some of my favorite videos you have ever put out. Thanks Jared, you are my inspiration.

  • Great job Jared. It was a wonderful look at how much work goes into covering a major event. It was also neat to see your fans getting excited to see you in person. Great job of being humble while you’re working.

  • Two things that come to mind from this vid is machine gunning and access! Working as a motor racing photographer in the UK I could flip book almost every race I cover! You can shoot too much - I'm terrible for it! On a Monday morning when you have 60-70,000 shots it takes a while to find the 'right' ones! But the access provided by MLB is fantastic here. This video should be a template that other sports/championships should look at for reaching a new audience. There are some that are incredibly closed minded. Allowing someone with knowledge and experience to deliver a vlog/doc, whatever you want to call it, provides a refreshing angle, and added to that the fact that it's about the story, the gear and what's happening (as opposed to the 'look at me' angle) I loved it. A third thing is the working with other snappers. Yep. I've seen a few people come and go due to attitude - some oozing with talent, and I've seen some 'workmanlike' (myself included) photogs come into our sport and work their way up thanks to positive actions. It's a massive thing that gets you far. Oh, and a fourth - have to admit I admired the ability to not slap the guy making the 'clown' comment. I'd have lost my creds and ended up in Phillies jail!! Excellent vid - as usual!!

  • This is a great video, Jared! Love the behind the scenes and all the prep that goes into an event of this magnitude. • I've always been fascinated by the fast paced world of sports media and how they basically have no margin of error to get things done in real time. It really does take an entire production team to deliver the way they do and I'm glad you were able to do this see we could all get a glimpse of that action.

  • JARED! I freaking loved how you filmed the BST of the pro shooters!!!!! I learned a ton of stuff. Even going frame by frame to see how the pros set up their gear. What gear they are using and how they are using it. While I may never shoot for a media company, I like to see their solutions and workflows which could help me in my work. I'm happy to see you showed me and other photographers how to conduct themselves at an event. Thanks for the TON of work you and your team to create this video. 🏆

  • This was really informative to watch and so great to see how professionally respectful everyone was being. I had a brief stint shooting events while working at a school district and didn't witness much respect from the local papers/news who were pretty cutthroat in getting their shots regardless of who else was around them. Seems so much easier to work together. I often wondered how it was during large events like this, great to see!

  • I like these type of videos. Fans go in the stadium or arena having a good time to see their favorite team play. However, photographers, media, and staff go in and its their job to get the right images and video and also broadcast the game and any news related to the game to everyone at home, work, at a bar or restaurant, or public place watching the game. I remember I used to cover Rutgers Football and Basketball for the school paper and I remember the press area in the stadium and arena (home and away) plus the time I got to capture images at 2 NFL stadiums (The Linc and Heinz Field [now known as Acrisure Stadium]) and 3 NBA/NHL arenas (The Garden, Prudential Center, and Verizon Center [now Capital One Arena]) which were some of my favorite experiences. I do miss covering sports, wish I could do it again.
